Infrastructure wise, it is good but need to improve in placements and teaching.

Placements: Placements are below average. Not many good companies visit the campus. Companies like Amazon selected only one or two candidates. The college needs to figure out the actual problem that, why not more than 1 or 2 candidates make through such a good company. Is it the problem with candidates or the training? And they should concentrate on inviting more good companies with good packages, instead of inviting more companies with a less package.

Best time to enjoy and get a good job.

Placements: The placements have been really good in this college. As of the year 2017, it is been marvellous because there has been a visit of many product based companies where the average LPA is in an increasing format compared to 2016. Examples include Oracle- 8lpa, Dell- 6lpa and others. Even the service based companies had come. When it comes to 2016 placements, it was also good because there was a visit of many service-based companies where an average package was 3.5 lpa.

Overall good placements and teaching faculty.

Placements: The placements offered are very good, but the maximum placements were offered in IT companies. For CSE, IT and ECE branches, this college provides the best placements. For core branches like electrical, mechanical and civil only few companies visits for the placement. From our batch, the maximum students got placed in IT based companies.

Decent college but not good. Infrastructure is fit for technical studies.

Placements: In computer science department, there was 100 percent placement. The highest package offered was approximately 16 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA to 5.5 LPA. All the major companies come for placement recruitment except the top 10 MNCs. The college does not provide the internship. You have to search it for yourself.

Best engineering college - sir MVIT.

Placements: The placement records of sir M Visvesarayya Institute of Technology are very good when compared to other colleges of VTU. Here, maximum placement package is sixteen lakhs per annum, which was offered by Amazon. Last year, from sir MVIT college, 95 percent of the students got placed in the placement drive. The placements are good for all branches. The lowest package in our college is four lakhs per annum.

Good placements and not that good faculty and crowd.

Placements: The placements are quite good in our college, every year 80 to 85% of the students get placements and last year the placement percentage was almost 90%. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA And the lowest package was nearly 2 LPA. The companies like TCS, WIPRO and ACCENTURE visit our campus for placements. Our college does not provide internships, we should find and get an internship on our own. There is a placement cell, and I have not seen the placement cell usage because am still a...

The topmost colleges in Bangalore with an outstanding result in all fields.

Placements: Sir MVIT mainly stands for its placements, and it involves in securing a minimum of 98% placements. Every year around more than 25 companies come to the college for recruitment and giving more than 500 offers overall. But the only cons is the college is not able to get mass recruitments in nowadays and TCS is not coming, and only companies with high salary packages will come for recruitment. The most senior person Mr.khan is the placement officer, and there is no doubt to say that Khan is the pi...

A very good college for computer science branch and placements are no less compared to top colleges.

Placements: The campus placement is very good in this college. The placement officer manages to get reputed companies to the campus. Companies like TCS, Accenture visit the college every year and recruits a minimum of 250 students. If you are very strong in technical, you have a chance of getting a top-notch company like Amazon. During our batch, 4 students got internship opportunity in Amazon and also 2 students got a package of 11 lacs per annum in the Thorough good company, which paid the highest package...

It's an average college. The crowd is good, but it is little far from the city.

Placements: The placements are pretty good for branches like CS and information science (IS). For other core branches like civil, mechanical, or EEE, very few core companies visit the college. My current year seniors have good placements with a package of 4 lakhs per annum. There is a placement cell which is active and gives information regarding the placements.

A review on Visvesvaraya Technical University.

Placements: I got placed in SolCen Technologies Bangalore. The placements in the college are good. The package ranges from 1.5lac per annum to 15lacs per annum. Most of the students from CS and IS will be placed. Even the internship opportunities are pretty good. The placement officer Mr Khan is very friendly and has lots of contacts. All thanks to him that the placements are very good compared to other colleges.

The college is better infrastructure, excellent lecturers, and the best hostel facilities.

Placements: The placements in our college are excellent. The college name only tells it all. The student, who wants to become a good engineer, and looking for better placement opportunities can join our college. The staff members are informative. The previous year, 70 to 85% of the students got placed. Other than the placements, the lecturers will support our mini-projects, and they will conduct the additional workshops to give the practical knowledge about our courses. They will provide the placement train...

I am satisfied with good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for our seniors batch were pretty good. Almost 90-93% of the students got placed from the past 3-4 years. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Companies offered engineering jobs and management jobs. About 40-50 companies visit our campus for placements every year.

A better college than other colleges in Bangalore with required facilities and overall development.

Placements: The placements in this college are excellent with an average package of 3-4 LPA, and almost every student is placed in some company. Many companies like Infosys, Wipro come here for mass placement and also offering a better salary. The highest package is about 12 lakhs PA. The lowest is about 3 lakhs PA. The placement record of about 97% is maintained every year.

Satisfied with the college, placements are good.

Placements: Placements are good. We can expect good packages for ECE and CSE courses. And also there are good recruitment companies for mechanical engineering and other courses. All the available good companies are recruiting students. There are good placements. Better placements can be expected.

Sir MVIT is better than many colleges in Karnataka but doesn't stand anywhere at national level.

Placements: The placements offered are good for all the branches except civil engineering. Almost 80-85% of the eligible students in my senior batch were placed. The highest package offered by Amazon (15 lakhs per annum), Thorough good (11 lakhs per annum) the minimum package was offered around 2.5 lakhs per annum (Microland). My experience at Sir MVIT.

Placements: Placements for the 2018 batch have been going on since October. However, only the computer science students have been provided with offers over 6 LPA while the others have been provided with offers averaging at 3 LPA. The highest offer was by Media dot net of 30 LPA while the lowest was 2.5 LPA by Accenture.

Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, an overview of the college.

Placements: The placements have always been a top priority for any college, so is at Sir MVIT. This year, nearly 25 companies have visited our college including EY, Continental Automotive, Wipro, Mu-Sigma, Accenture, etc. The first cycle will be ended in November, and the second cycle starts in January which is carried on until March. The highest package in the last year was 16 LPA by Amazon.in.

Placements: This year, the placements are quite good. Companies like HPE took 6 students with 8.5lpa. Tally took around 8 students with 6lpa. MuSigma took 18 students with 21 lpa (however, there is a bond with it for three years). The company like media.net came with an offer of 30 lpa and 15 lpa. Service-based companies like Accenture, Wipro, Aricent, MindTree also visited our college. Other than these, till now, more than 30 companies have visited our college. If you are willing to work hard and wants to get placed in software industries, it's a nice college.

Placements: The placements are good for computer science and IT branches, nearly 95%, but no core companies for mechanical engineering and civil engineering. If you work a bit, you can get recommended for IT sectors. Minimum package is approximately 2.5 lakhs per annum, and some companies like Amazon offers you 15 lakhs per annum. The companies like Accenture, Odessa, MU Sigma, Amazon, Continental, Tally, etc., visit the college.

Great placements for CSE ECE ISE. The faculty are not up to the mark. No good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for CSE and ISE are great. Almost everyone who are eligible, get placed. For ECE also, it's good, 2-3 core companies come for ECE also. ECE students are allowed to attend all software and CSE core companies and have a fair chance of getting placed. In mechanical and EEE, only 30-40 percent are placed, and there are very fewer placements for civil and biotechnology. However, there is no one offer policy, and one can get many offers.
