A good engineering college.

Placements: The placement in Sir MVIT is very popular in Bangalore. Many companies visited for campus selections this year. Top companies like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, TCS recruit the students. The average package offered to students of CSE, ISE, ECE is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The highest package offered was 16 LPA by Amazon.

Dissatisfied with the faculty and good placements in 2014,2015.

Placements: The placements offered in our college are usually what keeps everyone hopeful since this is what matters to most in the end. The placement drive is still on for us, with the highest package offered to be Rs. 29 LPA by Media net and the lowest being Rs. 2.25 LPA by Adventure which incidentally is the highest recruiter as of now, with 122 offers. The placements are best for Computer Science.

Really good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: This year, nearly 40 IT companies came for the placements 99% placements for computer science and IS branches. For our senior batch, totally 96% placements and students were placed who were eligible i.e. above 60-65% on an average. The highest package offered was 13 lakhs per annum and the average salary is near 3-4 lakhs per annum. Companies which visited are Amazon, Microsoft, Himachal Pradesh, Infosys, Accenture, Sonata Soft, Wipro, CSC, Caterpillar, Microland, De Shaw Software and much more...

The college is not good for a person with high goals; you will just pass time in this college

Placements: The college is not good for placements. The average package is 3.5 lacs. This college is not so good for placement. One should not join this college for placements. Placements are going down every year- they are almost nil. The highest placement in the year 2017 is 8 lacs. Earlier, my seniors had nice placements and the average was around 4-5 lacs. But the current scenario is totally different.

Good placements and old infrastructure.

Placements: Sir MVIT is famous for its placements. But only for computer science, EC and IS branch. It has a low percentage of placement when it comes to ME, civil, and electrical. The highest package is around 7-12 LPA, and the average is around 2.5-3.5 LPA. The companies like Accenture, TCS, Mindtree, Wipro and some new companies come every year. The students are not getting the internship from the college.

The management of college works hard with dedication.

Placements: The placements for mechanical students is getting better these years. The placements for CS students is very good when compared to other branches. The college is good for getting placed in core companies. If one is looking forward to a huge package, CS is better. Jobs for the mechanical department are good as well, but with an average package.

A college known for its placements and lush green environment.

Placements: The placements for the students of information science and computer science branch are quite good. Many companies recruit students throughout the year, and most of the students get an average package of around 4 LPA. Two companies namely Accenture, Wipro are the mass recruiters. A good knowledge of the programming languages and good communication skills can help students to grab a package worth it.

Know and come be a part of Sir M.V.I.T.

Placements: The placement is pretty good with the highest package of 16 lakhs and the lowest of 3.5 lakhs. The percentage of placement is also considerably good with almost 90% students placed. Many good companies like Amazon and TCS visit our college for placement. As far as internships are concerned, there are not many internships available in our college.

I strongly recommend to not select this institute for EE, CV and ME. No placements.

Placements: The best and 100% placements are for only IT Students. The salaries offered are from 14 lakhs per annum to 10 thousand per month. Students are only offered information technology jobs, other than IT, only 2-8% for other branches. You cannot get a job in core companies as a mechanical engineer or a civil engineer.

Good infrastructure of the college.

Placements: CSE, ISE, ECE and TCE departments get the highest placements in the college. Mechanical, industrial, electrical and civil departments have fewer placements as core companies of these streams tend to visit less often. College is known for high placements in IT and CS sectors.

Best place to get engineering done from. Located far from Bangalore city.

Placements: Placement is well up to the mark. There are a lot of prestigious companies for all streams of engineering, for example, IT, mechanical, electronic, civil. Percentage figures vary, but an aggregate of 70-80% placement is done on campus. Salaries start from 2.5 LPA to 4 LPA on average. Companies such as Amazon provide an average package of 20 LPA.

Review of Sir MVIT Bangalore and whether it is worth joining.

Placements: To be frank, if one wishes to join sir MVIT, I would suggest him not to join it if he is looking for a college with placements in core company. The college has only one core company which selects only 5-10 students and rest of students have to try for it. Companies offer them a package of 2-3 lakhs per annum which is not satisfactory for us to meet our own needs.

Satisfied with the college placement.

Placements: I got placed in TCS and Accenture. Many companies used to visit our college campus. The placement officer is also good. Many big companies came during placements like Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Robert Bosch, Samsung, HP, Sprinkler, etc. The placement is around 98%. But it lacks core companies visit during placements.

Satisfied with faculty and facilities provided here. Grateful to be a student of Sir MVIT.

Placements: Around 40 to 50 companies participated in our college placements. More than 80% of students got placed and companies were ready to pay from 3 LPA to 14-15 LPA. Many reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Tesco, Cisco, L&T and many more companies visited our college. They offered developing, testing, HR and other roles to the selected students.

ECE department in MVIT, and there is a problem with the infrastructure in MVIT.

Placements: I am pursuing my 4th year, and the placements for my batch will be starting shortly from the next month. Our senior batches have always had good placements record. Many companies visit our college every year and conduct the placement drives. MVIT is known for its CS and IS branches since most of the companies that to the campus are software companies. For EC students, the companies like Aricent, Mu Sigma, Odessa Technologies, Temenos visit the college. The average package is around 5 LPA, the hi...

Good placement in 2016. Good infrastructure.

Placements: A lot of companies visit our college offering 5-6 lacs compensation package. Many students are placed. Placement is 100% for computer science and information science. The highest CTC was around 14 lacs last year. The average salary offered was around 4 lacs. The placement scenario is very good in our college.

A mediocre college with decent infra, faculty and placements.

Placements: Placements are decent. An average of 10-15 companies visit every year, most of them are software and services companies. 300 students are placed every year. Roles would most likely be of technical support and very less of developing. The internship is not quite encouraging in the institute. The average salary would be 3 LPA - 5 LPA.

Placements: The placement was okay in my college but the placement cell offered a grooming session to the students before appearing in the final placements. Approximately 80% students were placed. The highest salary package for an engineer was 8.5 lakh but the average salary was 3.5 lakh. IT companies like Accenture, TCS and Infosys visited our campus. Good institute, though it is far from the city.

Placements: Talking about the placements of the college, our college is one of the top 10 colleges in Bangalore. You can be assured to get placed in any of the company. Though there are very few core companies that come, there are IT companies that come and recruit many students.

Faculty is satisfactory. Placements are great, but we always want better placements. Average infra.

Placements: Placements in this college are very good. Almost all get placed. Yet, civil engineers often get a core job. You may get placement in a tech company. The average package is 3 lakh. The highest package in mechanical engineering last year was 24 lakh. If you learn a lot of coding, you will get an easy and good job in a tech company. Companies like Amazon and L&T too come to the college.
