Don't take admission in this college. It is totally a waste of time and money.

Placements: 1) Approximately 67% to 70% of the student were placed from various branches. 2) No placement in MECHANICAL or CIVIL. 3) The highest package is 14 LPA (2024). 4) The average package is around 3.4 LPA. 5) The recruiting companies are Target, KickDrum, and Amadeus Lab.

I am dissatisfied because of poor placements.

Placements: Placements in the last batch were very poor. Almost 20% of the students got placed last year. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered 2 LPA. The college does not provide internship to students. There is a placement cell for students, and it is pretty helpful.

It is a bad college in terms of location, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The college does not provide placements for core branches. Placements in our college are bad. Only for IT sector companies visit our campus for placements. Most of them are mass recruiters and offer the lowest salary package. There was a time when this college had better placement but not now.

Not happy about being an alumni of my college.

Placements: This college is better known for its placements than the education. Most people were offered jobs by mass recruiters. However, better companies can visit. During my year, the highest salary offered was 12LPA, which was offered only to computer Science department. The lowest offered salary was 2.8LPA College/placement cell does not offer any assistance towards internships.

All in all its a very average college with almost nothing good.

Placements: Placements are pretty average. Its good for CS IS and ECE. Rest of the departments are striving for getting 25% placements. Companies like Amazon, Odessa, Accenture, Wipro, Aricent, Mu sigma come for placements. Amazon offers the highest package of 14lpa whereas CGI offers the lowest of 2.8lpa.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members, placements, infrastructure.

Placements: During my final year, the placement for the mechanical branch was about 10%, and for other core branches, it is same except for CS and IT branch having placement about 70%. If you are taking admission to this college, never opt mechanical branch. Otherwise, you will regret. All the best for your future.

Finally I want to say that, the only thing college had was placement and that too has degraded.

Placements: Placements of 2016 batch was excellent, no. Of placed students were almost 90-95%, the highest package was 16 Lacs (amazon) and average package almost 5-6 Lacs. 2017 batch placement degraded (in terms of average package) but they managed to maintain percentage of 80-85% placed students. Actually No. Of placed students of other branches reduced. Now comes 2018, the worst placement in the history of mvit after 2010-11 crisis. Placement in terms of average package, the highest package and specially...

The worst infrastructure, placement, with no exposure.

Placements: The placements are good if you are good in rote learning (memorising without learning) or in Hindi Ratta and can score good grades (It's very hard, seriously). Don't take branches other than CSE, ISE or ECE. Don't even dream of getting placed core company (there is only 1 student I have seen getting placed in a core, and it was because of his efforts and sources, not through campus placement). Don't believe everything you see on some random site. The average salary is 3-3.5 Lacs. (the lowest you...

Do not join MVIT. It is one of the worst colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: The placements are pretty good for people with an aggregate of 65%. Many opportunities are there, and this college allows multiple Companies options. CSE gets the most companies and hence a big opportunity for them. My advice is don't focus only on placements. Go for higher studies to abroad since the chances are big and better there.

I feel ashame to study here as a mechanical student. Seriously, sometimes I feel like why did I.

Placements: The placement opportunities are not that good. The mechanical department is the worst in Sir MVIT. They wouldn't give the marks if you had any personal argument with the lecturers. They simply reduce your internal marks or else they will fail you in your lab externals especially XXX sir, and XXX and all the staff are like that only. If you're getting the admission in MVIT, then make sure you don't take the mechanical, please.

Infrastructure wise, it is good but need to improve in placements and teaching.

Placements: Placements are below average. Not many good companies visit the campus. Companies like Amazon selected only one or two candidates. The college needs to figure out the actual problem that, why not more than 1 or 2 candidates make through such a good company. Is it the problem with candidates or the training? And they should concentrate on inviting more good companies with good packages, instead of inviting more companies with a less package.

Nothing amazing. The college needs improvement in everything.

Placements: The placements are very bad. Engineering courses are prioritized and MCA students don't get any placement offers at all. The placement officer is useless. He only talks and takes no action. There is no help from him at all to the students, all we get is fake promises and a lecture.

Placements at Sir MVIT are decent but apart from placements there is nothing. The campus is huge but most of it is jungle and the rest is not managed at all. Hostels lack proper facilities and food is also not good. Also the college is far away from city.

It is another engineering college in Bangalore which provides incompetent engineers.

Placements: Placements were mostly conducted by IT companies in our college. For other courses, placements were below average. Majority of the students from the non-IT background also get placed in IT companies only. Salaries offered for most students would be between Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month, but some IT students would get very high salaries.
