Good infrastructure with average faculty and big college vibes.

Placements: The website shows that placement is 100 percent but either its of previous years, and that too with the least packages, not the dream packages. So be careful. In the last year, I think the good placements were coming from off campus; the good placements inside campus were of 1 LPA and either of 2-3 LPA. So please check the real data if you're a placement-oriented person.

Review of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology.

Placements: Students get placements with a salary package of 5 LPA to 6 LPA. I recommend students to join this college if they are nearby this college. Placements provided are above average.

This college is good for engineering. The MBA department is not up to the mark.

Placements: In this college, placements are average. Students should find placements themselves mostly. Around 2% of students only get proper placements through campus selection. IT companies are TCS, IBM, Amazon, etc., are the top recruiters of this college. The internships program is the student's responsibility only.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: About 60% of the students are placed in Mechanical Branch. The highest package was 5 LPA and average package 2.5 LPA. Continental Automotive was the top core company that visited the college. No one got internship offer from Mechanical Branch. Design engineer was the top role offered in Mechanical engineering.

Not a good experience. Wi-fi connection and fests are horrible.

Placements: I've heard this a lot from our seniors that the placements are good. But I'm not into getting a placement, so I'm unaware of it.

It is an average college with good placements. The course demands a lot of hard work.

Placements: The placements were good, there were ample amount of opportunities for all branches. With CTC ranging from 3.5 LPA to 12 LPA (for CS and IT students). The placements were carried out in an orderly manner and there were proper notifications of all the companies that came to the college.

Just a place to get a B.E Degree not more than that.

Placements: Placements of this college is quite good, but due to some issues in the IT field during 2017 in Bengaluru, most of the companies didn't recruit what they used to recruit from my college. Some of the top recruiting companies were Accenture, Wipro, L&T, etc. Average package was around 3lpa. The maximum package went up to 16lpa from CSE course. Around 50% of students GOT placed in my course.

I am dissatisfied with placements in our college.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch were below average. Only 50 % of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The college doesn't provide any internships offers to the students. There is a placement cell, which is quite useful.

I am dissatisfied with the placements. The infrastructure is average. Faculty are good.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were below average. Only 30% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Very few students got internships from college. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 40,000, whereas the lowest stipend offered was nil. The placement cell is very efficient.

Good college having bad infra.

Placements: Placement for the college was pretty good. Around 80% of eligible students got placed. Package offered ranged from 3lac to 23 lac. Most of the mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Tech mahindra visited my college. Yes there was placement cell as well.

If you want to join here, make sure that you don't waste your degree.

Placements: Placements in the college are good, but we have to maintain minimum aggregate and should be good at other skills. We should maintain a CGPA of 7 in academics to get placed. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. The lowest salary offered was 3 LPA. Reputed companies like Accenture, TCS, visit our college for placements. The placements cell is available in the college, and it is famous when compared to other colleges.

This college is only good for CS, IT and ECE branches.

Placements: Compared to the previous batch, the placement percentage of our college has decreased this year. TCS, which is the mass recruiter, didn't conduct any placement drive in the college this year. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. Students can expect only IT-related jobs. Core companies rarely visit the college to offer placements. Branches like CS and IT might have 100% placements.

My two years of experience in MVIT.

Placements: Placements for the students of CSE department are decent. We get a lot of companies, but it depends on how the students perform. For other branches, the placements are very bad. Hardly, 50% of the students of other departments got placed in the college placements. Till now, the highest package offered to the CSE students was 11 LPA, and the average salary offered was 3.5 LPA. For mechanical students, the highest salary offered was 7 LPA, and the average salary offered was 3 LPA. Not many core co...

Located Far Away From Bangalore City.

Placements: Placements in our college is near to 100%. Students here get an average package of 6 lacs per annum. The highest package of our college from CSE and ISE is 31 lacs. Placements of ECE is also moderate and the highest package was 15 lacs. Many top rated companies visit our college every year such as Amazon, Flipkart, Dell, HP etc.

Sir MVIT review from a average student.

Placements: Average. Most of the companies which come offer IT jobs. Irrespective of your branch. Good amount of people with above 60% marks without year back got placed but in IT only. Mechanical and civel people face a lot of problem. Core companies don't visit, good placements for people in computer Science.

A good atmosphere, but placement is very hard.

Placements: Placements are normal, and it depends on your hard work. Teaching is good, and location of the college is outside the city; so there is no noise disturbance. There are good grounds to play, and the climate is also nice. Hostel facilities are good, but the food is not good. The fee is much less than the other colleges.

The infrastructure is the worst, but there are good placements for IT branches.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE, ESE, ISE. Around 80 percent students get placed, but for other branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics, it is bad, which is below 40 percent. This year, because of the slowdown in recruitment, the placement has gone down. However, it is good in comparison to other colleges.

College review of sir mvit college in Bangalore.

Placements: Placements are not good in this college anymore. There were very few companies opportunities and packages offered were majorly 3 LPA. Most of the companies are information technology based companies. Few companies that came were aricent, Accenture, mindtree, tally, hpe (support), Wipro, blue optima, HSBC, target some more.

Reputed college with average placements, but this college is heading towards its downfall.

Placements: Placements in SMVIT are average, but you are sure to be placed in mass recruiting companies. However, not many core companies visit your college or any famous tech giant. In the following years of placements in SMVIT is to go down, and the overall college ranking will also drop. The maximum package here was around 8 LPA which was offered by HP, and the lowest was 3.3 LPA which was offered by Accenture. Here companies like Accenture, Wipro, Amazon, HP, and Ernest and young were prominent. Interns...

Happy with faculty members, the infrastructure is okay, and awesome placements in 2016.

Placements: The placements of our college are decent. If you have the potential, then you will get placed for sure. To be on the length of the cream student, you have to study few courses like C+ in Bangalore as it is IT hub. If you know C+, you will get placed. The placement officer of this college is very nice, and I suggest you be in contact with him. The college brings well-reputed companies. Not even a single company which give the job to a student visit the college for placements. After a few months, ...
