Placements: There is no placement such you want and you may like to do there was not placement, the count of placement below than 50%, you have to find the company for you, you have to get the best grade in semesters than you are hired from a big company, like Wipro, Infosys, etc.

Placements: Being an accounting and finance student, I did not find the placements, useful. Companies visit the campus but they offer jobs in the sales department which is not worthful for an accounting student. TCS is the top recruiting company in my opinion. However, the placement is not so good.
