The fee structure of our college is okay, but the college can be a little better.

Placements: The placement procedure in our college is not that impressive. Only one company visited the campus for placements. We were expecting more companies to visit. Hence, the placement part is disappointing. I hope the college will change that and allow students to explore and get chances in the placement programme.

Review of Sivanath Sastri College.

Placements: The college has started providing placement opportunities from our super senior batch. Companies like TCS, PwC, SDC, etc., visit the campus for placements. Overall, the placements are not that good with merely 25%-30% of the students getting placed from our senior batch, and the scenario is the same for us. The highest salary package offered is around 1.8 LPA. Students are hardly offered any internship opportunities.

Faculty were good, but the infrastructure needs to be improved.

Placements: Very few companies visited our college to offer placements. TCS and PWC are those 2 companies that visited our college. The students who attended the training programme conducted by TCS were given certificates. Around 30-40% of the students were placed in TCS, while 5-8% of the students were placed in PWC. Packages offered ranged from 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. Internships were not provided to us.

The faculty are highly qualified and knowledgeable.

Placements: Placements opportunities are provided for the final year or passed out students, depending on their course and personalities. Interviews are conducted in the college campus. Companies like IBM, TCS, Genpact and Capgemini visit the college to conduct interviews. But, the main problem is the college doesn't inform about the placements, so many students miss the opportunity.

Satisfied with everything this college offers except the behavior of some non-teaching staff.

Placements: Most of the students securing first class marks got placed in MNCs like TCS, Wipro, etc. The average package offered is Rs. 1.8 lakhs per annum to all the B.Com graduates. The post offered to students is a junior accountant. The stipend is not provided in this college.

This is an old charming and an epitome of knowledge.

Placements: The companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus for placements. They conduct corporate training sessions on the campus, and that is fruitful. It's done in collaboration with our college. I have seen most of my seniors and people from our batch opting for it. They give us finance project which is related to our core studies.

Bad faculty members makes Sivanath Shastri College bad.

Placements: Sivanath Shastri College gives few placements for B.Com honours candidates. Only the students who score high gets the opportunity for placements. Companies like ICICI Prudential life insurance company limited, TCS, SBI life insurance, Wipro etc., come to the campus and hired a few. Most of the students opt for higher studies.

One of the best college for girls.

Placements: Placements were good from our college. More than 70% were placed. On an average the salary provided was 10,000 rupees. Different banking sector companies along with private firms approached for job offers. The placement facility of our college is good but not the best.

Sivanath Sastri College is good for the students.

Placements: Every year, well-reputed MNC companies recruit many students from the campus. In our batch, TCS recruits most of the students and provides training to the students, and after completing the training, a certificate is also provided to the students, which is helpful. The salary package offered by them is satisfactory to the freshers.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the teachers, administration and facilities.

Placements: No placements are available. Only one BPO job from TCS is available. But there also a little chunk of students who get chance. There is no internship fasility in this college. There is no placement cell in the college. College administrator is the worst. They don't have any idea about what is going on. College authority is list bothered about the future of the students.

Proud to be a part of it.

Placements: TCS conducted a campusing programme for their BPO job. Nearly 10 students got placement. Salary offered to them was near about Rs. 10000. No other companies came for campusing. The job offered was BPO based. Many students didn't turn up for campusing because they were pursuing higher studies. So the number of students got placed were very less.

Good placements but needs improvement.

Placements: The placements, as far as I remember were okay. Since there were no remarkable placements, I can't tell it was totally good. But according to seniors, the college provides good placements in banks. Some of my batch mates got good paid internships. But it could've helped the students more if the college had good connectivity with the students and the notices were served adequately on time. Some of my known have done the internship and said that they were provided with good stipend. The course of ...

If you want to enjoy college life, then this is not the best college.

Placements: Only TCS and Wipro visit the campus for the placements, and that too only BPO. The college placement service is good but only BPOs visit. You will be given training and then four rounds of interview and aptitude if you clear only then you will get placement. Aptitude training is also given with highly qualified training teachers from good companies.

A great college with great cooperative teaching staff.

Placements: I have completed my B.Com from this college. Here, teachers are very helpful and cooperative. Also, the principal here is very understanding. This college is one of the best colleges for commerce in Kolkata with comparatively low fees. And yes, it is 100% ragging free. At the end of every year, there are many big MNCs like TCS, PWC, etc., which come here and provide placement after the selection process.

Good placement opportunities.

Placements: The placements are in PwC and Deloitte. All the students were given opportunities to attend each and every placement interview. There is an opportunity that if a student does good in the training period, then there is a possibility to be dissolved in office as permanent faculty.

Good, helpful and knowledgeable faculty members helping students to achieve their dreams.

Placements: Every year, companies from different sectors like IT, telecom, FMCG etc. visit our college for placement drives. Companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Genpact etc. come to our college. The average package offered is around Rs. 90,000 per month. After taking an exam, the deserving candidates are placed in these companies.

All about Sivanath Shastri College.

Placements: The placements in the third year of college are generally from these two companies Tata Consultancy Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers Service Delivery Center, Kolkata. The students are trained well enough to go for walk-in campusing or off-campus campusing.

A good morning-girls' college in South Kolkata for B.Com.

Placements: The placements were held on the campus both for seniors and our batch. The maximum students have got placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, ICICI, Mahindra, and Kotak came here. Roles which were ordered was a team leader. Many students took part. 2.5-3 LPA was the package offered. Many of my friends got placements. Mr Mohit was our trainer. He was excellent. We got much information from him. I was too satisfied. I would recommend many to take intern from him.

A review about the Sivanath Shastri College- morning of South City College.

Placements: I didn't sit for the BPO job. They were offering after three years of study. TCS was the only company which came for placement. No other companies came to the campus. I was not interested in TCS as I was focusing on the higher studies. CTC offered by the company was around 10k per month.

Absolutely satisfied with my college for everything they gave us.

Placements: In our college, the placements are pretty good. TCS and many banks have come to take interviews. It is a very well opportunity for us to look forward to our bright future right after the graduation, and our college helps us to get through that situation as freshers.
