The review about SJBIT for everyone.

Placements: The HRD department is in the hands of two worst people. They both took a degree and came through influence and ruining the student's lives. They don't have any idea to train the students and to bring the companies and get the students placed. SJBIT should be ashamed since they couldn't get the students placed in the companies and let the students struggle with studying in their beloved institution. My advice for the administration is to get a nice people, who can train in the interview point of ...

My review on SJB Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements are good, and it depends on your speaking skills. They train you, though the maximum package does not exceed Rs.50,000 per month. You can join this college if you are interested in the average annual package at the end of your semester though the marks are important and play a key role.

The review of SJBIT by the mechanical student.

Placements: The placements are good for computer science, electrical, electronics, but the placements are not good for mechanical engineering. Lots of pool campuses take place in which the students come from the various colleges to attend it. The mechanical branch is having very a few placements as low as 3-4 persons per batch are placed. For the other branches, the placement percentage is almost 80%.

Dissatisfied with the campus

Placements: Mostly mass recruitment companies come to the college. Everyone from computer science will be placed. No one from other departments has been placed any companies. The highest salary offered will be around 6-8 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is 2.75 lakhs per annum. No one will get internships.

The college is very much strict for the attendance reason.

Placements: They will tell 100% placement, but normally 10-20 students will get placed at last. That too, a mechanical student doesn't get placed in the core company and finally, the student ends up in some IT company. Also, most of the student doesn't get placed at all, but mostly the computer science and the information science students, at least get an offer letter from few companies.

SJBIT has a good infrastructure but other things are not good at all.

Placements: The placements in our college are so bad that every year, only 25% of the total students get placed in good companies. The remaining students get graduated without any job offers. Our college is taking measures to improve the placement percentage but each and every measure fails.

SJB Institute of technology is very good by it infrastructure and average faculty. Average placement. In terms of Fine it is very bad it enforces fine on student for each and everything. At the end of semester exam a student has to pay minimum fine of 1000 Rs even if he has done nothing.

Not recommended as the college is very strict. Management seats are not at all worthy.

Placements: 23 LPA was the highest package and more than 25 offers of 10 LPA and above but now the principal has changed and we have to wait for this year result. HRD classes will be provided from 1st year only. HRD training include aptitude communication and soft skills etc.

Dissatisfied in case of language, mobile phones and fines.

Placements: The placement is above average mostly. About 5 years ago, the placement percentage was almost 85-90%. But for the past couple of years it has been decreasing. While some top companies like Juspay, L&T, Betsol, Adobe etc. Keep visiting the campus, the packages are mostly around 3-4 LPA on an average basis. But it totally depends upon the performance of the candidate as I've seen people taking off a 14 LPA package also.

Our college provides good infrastructure for students.

Placements: Top recruiting companies like HP and Mindtree visit our college for placements. Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The salary package offered was not very high. The salary package offered ranges from 2-7 LPA. Top companies like Sellout, Tredence, Google, Accenture, Dell, Cisco and Microsoft do not hire students from our college.

Satisfied with infrastructure, unsatisfied with everything else.

Placements: Top level placement training is provided. Training covers all aspects- soft skills, aptitude, technical, verbal ability training. However the placements is very poor wrt mechanical branch. The average no. Of students getting placed is 10 out of 120 students. Only 7 students of my batch got placed. The companies that came to our college for placement are Toyota, Tech Mahindra, Customised technologies, Triveni turbines and a lot of IT companies. Same goes with the internships- very less offers.
