I am satisfied with this college in all aspects.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are easy to attend because in our college respective faculty members will conduct internals like 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Percentage of our college in CGPA. Our students are well trained under strict disciplined.

Satisfied with the college, and I felt much comfortable with the lecturers and environment.

Faculty: All the lecturers are good and very friendly with the students. They help us to study well. They always keep us motivated and focused on our studies and help us in making notes and assignments. The curriculum is relevant because it's set by VTU.

If your really from Chitradurga then it's okay to join.

Faculty: Well experienced faculty members. More than 5 facilities having more than 20 year of experience in mechanical engineering sector. Good teaching facilities available help and lot of support from faculty members are available. But curriculum does not make students industry ready.

The college is good for who those study only for the certificate.

Faculty: 1; Teaching quality and faculty members are experienced persons and excellent teaching and labs are available in the mechanical department. Excellent teaching staff and they support each student in their studies and clarify all the problems. 2; No, the course curriculum is not relevant because they only teach and follow the university syllabus.

The faculty members are good, but the campus placements are poor.

Faculty: The teaching faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They support the students during labs and seminars. Even lab attendees are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is up to the mark, and they provide the proper study materials and notes. In our branch, I think we have enough staff as compared to the students. There is no such industry exposure to industrial trip or company visit. Overall in our branch, the teaching staff is good, and even lab attendees are also having good knowledge of ...

Good college for local residents.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. I can rate the faculty members as 4 out of 5. The labs are well-equipped, and everything is good at affordable college fees. With good teaching and environment, students score well in exams. They have got good hostel facilities and libraries where books can be borrowed. That is all I can say. All the best.

Life in SJMIT college, chitradurga.

Faculty: The faculty are satisfactory. There is a high value for civil engineering course. The teaching is standard and well enough in VTU. The students get good marks in exams, and the internal marks are also good.

It is a more preferable college.

Faculty: The staff of other branches I don't know about, but our staff is really good, and their speaking skills and conveying methods is in an understandable way, and they concern on each and every student of the class. And the time management of the staff is also awesome.

I am satisfied as it helps students for their better future.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. They are highly qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality is better. Very good and easily understandable teaching methods are used. We get industry exposures when we need it. Overall, teaching has no questions to be raised, and it is more than enough.

A satisfied engineer from SJM Institute of Technology, Karnataka.

Faculty: I have completed my engineering in electronics and communication stream and all the faculty members including the lab assistants are skilled persons. Since the college is affiliated with VTU, hence talking about the course structure is worthless. This college is under the ten rankings for the automobile and mechanical engineering streams.

SJMIT college - good and average college.

Faculty: The faculty members are nice but play politics in that also. They are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methods are bad, and they will just teach you five lessons out of 8. The student's to teachers ratio is 20:1. There is no industry exposure. No course curriculum. If the teachers encourage the students, then people will do wonders. The teachers will only demotivate the students.

Good placement, average infrastructure and awesome faculty.

Faculty: The faculty members are awesome and student friendly. Powerpoint presentations were made and practical experiments were conducted. The student to faculty ratio was 60:1. We got a lot of industrial exposure during the final year. The course curriculum was useful in all aspects.

Chitradurga is a small city and SJMIT is the only engineering college in there for now. Many other colleges have been proposed to be opened in the near future. Talking about SJMIT, the college is good in terms of faculty and the fees the charge but not the ROI. Infrastructure not very attractive but covers almost every necessary blocks of study. Many of the Lecturer have more than 20 years of experience in teaching. Placements when I was studying was zero. Since the city was small and there was ...

College is at an average level. It’s the only college that has been established in Chitradurga town. College faculty members are very good and kind in nature. College placements are nil. No placement will be given. Even though it has 35 years of establishment it lags behind the placements, campus. Hostel blocks are also not good. I don't recommend this college
