It's a good college with average placements.

Infrastructure: Every college has bad and good aspects. Our college is no different. It's the first private college in West Bengal. The best part of this college is the faculty. Most of them are friendly with students. They will help you with your progress. Placements are a major concern here. Only the best students get the best placement opportunities. Others just participate in placements. There are many ways to get into this college, like WBJEE, merit base, management quota etc. I took admission in August 20...

Review of SMIT - Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: The quality of the food served here is very low. However, other facilities are good like Wi-Fi and labs. Classrooms are very well maintained, and some equipment in the communication lab is outdated. However, the computer lab is well maintained. The bathroom in the lady's hostel is not good.

I have the best college life with good people, helpful teachers and great placements.

Infrastructure: The space of our campus is very big. There are 5 hostels, of which 3 for boys and two for girls. Classrooms are quite big, and there are separate buildings for labs and a library. There are two big playgrounds, of which one is for cricket and football, and another is for volleyball and badminton. There is a huge canteen, and the food is served for 24 hours. When I was passed out from this college, people have not used much Wi-Fi.

The hostel has 4 buildings, and every building is allocated for every year students. They have one football ground and a badminton court. The quality of the food served is very good. The campus has 24x7 ambulance facilities.

SMIT needs to work on its placements. Otherwise, it's a pretty good college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is neither too bad nor too good. Wi-Fi is available all over the college campus. We have a pretty huge library, and mostly we collect books from there. Classrooms are average. There is a huge ground in college for different types of sports. Our college has it's own canteen, but food quality is average.

I am satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and good placements.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are in good conditions, and it is huge compared to the other college classrooms. The college provides free Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus. The library and reading room are available where students can read the books or can do some assignments, etc. Hostel facility is good, and especially the women's hostel is very good. Quality of the food in the canteen is good. Only first aid facility is available for medical purpose. An ambulance is also available for any emergency co...

Review of Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: There is a digital library. Apart from books, one can use the internet for more study material. There is a gym facility, and different games available for students now. I don't have any idea about the hostel as I wasn't part of the hostel. For medical emergencies, an ambulance is available 24x7 at the campus.

Not a very satisfying campus.

Infrastructure: There is no sport place. No gym. No common canteen. The canteen is available only for hostel students. And the food available is very bad and taste very bad. No separate medical place for an emergency within the campus. One common library. Which is ordinary. And the labs are good.

Take admission in SMIT and experience competitive life and learning through application.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very good. Labs were excellent. Teachers and faculty members were very cooperative. Students work hard during project work. Faculty members provide us with many projects from which we can get extra knowledge so that we can utilise it in our higher studies.

Placements in 2019 have been good. This is an excellent college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. However, the classrooms and labs are excellent. The medical facility is provided if there is an emergency. The college also organises an annual sports events. They also conduct cricket and football tournaments for the students to have fun. Our college also has a playground for all students.

My college SMIT, a good college for admission.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Labs are well decorated with instruments. For sports there is a football ground in our campus and total 4 badmintoncourts are there. Medical facilities is always there in our campus. Hostels are also available in our campus and hostel rooms are good for lodging but foods for hostellers are very poor.

SMIT - once great, now gone.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is OKish. Labs are all equipped but can be more better. Computer labs has possibilities of improvement also. The mechanical workshops are the only which are well-equipped and better than the rest. Library is not good. Canteen food is what you can expect from a usual Indian college canteen.
