Dissatisfied in 2016-17 because of faculty and their payment issues.

Placements: There were pretty good placements when I was in the first year. The highest package was 8 LPA, but the ratio started decreasing by the time I was in the third year. This year, many companies refused to come, and mass recruitment was also very less. I don't know the exact reason, but maybe lots of engineers are already in the market. The college provided internships, a workshop for basic electronics components, company visits, etc.

Dissatisfied with the college

Placements: Average rating. Core companies are few in number whereas IT companies i.e. mass recruitment take the majority of students. The highest package offered is 5 LPA and the average is 3 LPA. No guidance from the college for internships. Stipends offered were next to zero. I feel a proper guidance for placements should have been given from the lecturers' point of view.

It could have been a better place with better facilities and the faculty.

Placements: The placement scene here is not that one would expect. The number of companies which are coming for the placements is reducing every year. This year, Accenture is the only company that has recruited students yet and even they have picked about only 10% of the total students. The college does not provide the internship to the students. All they do is allow us for the internships from other companies. Some students received a decent stipend, but again, it depends on how you approach a company for...

SKNCOE, Sinhagad institute.

Placements: The average package is of 3.5 lakhs per year. There is a centralised placement. So the number of companies visiting the campus increases, but this also increases the competition. None of the company is core electronics company. The package is almost one and the same by all companies.

Good college. Okay placements. Great hostels.

Placements: The placements were good, not great. We certainly had some good companies. They offered salary starting from around 2.5 lacs to 4 lacs. Some companies offered more than 5 lacs pa salary but such companies had just less than 10 seats for overall campus. I do not recall which all companies visited because I never planned on being placed through campus. My main goal was to pursue MS in USA after my bachelor's. But to name a few, we had Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, MuSigma, Amcat, Tech Mahindra an...

A safe haven without freedom

Placements: Sinhgad Institutes carries out a mass campus placement drive which includes every college of the institute. Mass recruiters include Infosys, Cognizant and TCS. There are a few other companies as well, for instance Accenture, Cisco who regularly select a very few students. Microsoft attends the drives too and selects at most 3 students per their requirements. Around 80% students from Computer and IT get placed. For Mechanical it varies yearly but 50% average is a strong guess. Average package for...

Our college does not provide good placements.

Placements: Only 20% of students got placed from our college. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 12.6 LPA. Only a few companies visited here. Not many companies come here to hire students, so I recommend you to not take admission here.

Everything about the college is good, but it should provide better placements to the students.

Placements: Around 20% of the students got placed in this course. The highest package offered is 8.8 lacs per annum, the lowest package offered is 2.5 lacs per annum, and the average package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum. Top companies which recruit students are TCS, DHL, etc. The roles offered are in designing and hardware departments.

If you can't get a good college, then join here just to complete your degree.

Placements: I heard from our seniors that placements are good here, they but depend on your ability. So you can't be dependent on college for internships or a job, and you may get good placement after passed out of college. Otherwise, our college may or may not help during placements.

The worst infrastructure, not so good placements, satisfied by faculty.

Placements: Average placements with average packages only 10 percent of students gets placed, maximum packages ranges from 10000-30000. College offers no internship by far. Companies visit the campus but recruit very few about with a decent packages, 4 years of life in this college is not worth the trouble at all.

100% placement for Information Technology department last year.

Placements: There is a placement cell for all the departments. They even conduct placement training sessions. Even they take counselling classes. Last year information technology placement was 100 percent. There are teachers allocated for placement counselling. The minimum package is of 3.5 lacs.
