Review of SNSY Degree College.
Placements: Around 60% of students got placed in our college. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the highest salary package was 12 LPA. Samsung, Google, Microsoft, and many more companies were recruiting students. Students get placement offers from the 5th semester. Many big companies came to offer placements like Wipro. Many salary packages were offered for students with good working knowledge. Around 80% of students got placements. I planned to do MCA after my degree. The roles offered are coding, management, and more. A lot of internship programs were provided in our college by internship companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provided free Wi-Fi and a big lab. Classrooms were clean and disciplined with good facilities. Our college has a big library with 1 lakh books. It is one of the largest libraries in Tamilnadu. Our college does not allow mobile phones in classrooms. Many sports clubs were run by faculty members and students. Canteen was average. Food and beverage service center was huge. Hostel rooms consists of table and a chair to study.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good, well-qualified, very friendly, well-trained, and knowledgeable. They taught us very well. Semester examinations were a little tough. Mid-semester and end-semesters were not that hard. If students study normally, they will easily pass. The pass percentage was 45%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in computer science. Some social groups like NSS, NCC, etc., were available. Annual day was celebrated very grandly as they spent a lot of money.
