All about my college SLCC .
Placements: SLCC has demonstrated commendable placement performance in recent years. For the 2022 session, the highest salary package offered was 10 Lacs per annum (LPA), with an average package of 5 LPA. Over 90 recruiting companies participated in the campus placement process, providing diverse opportunities for students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides an environment conducive to academic excellence and holistic development. It has modern facilities, including well-ventilated classrooms with audio-visual aids and an extensive library with a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Som Lalit College of Commerce stands out for its dedicated and highly qualified faculty members. They are the cornerstone of the institution's academic excellence. It is a good college, but teachers are not good.
Placements: Our college provides average placements in our course. The salary package offered is 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Internships are not available.
Infrastructure: The quality of food in the canteen is average. A library is available. Wi-Fi is not available. Phones are allowed during lectures. Our classrooms are clean. There is an individual chair for everyone. During exams, we must sit on the top floor of classrooms in the summer, with direct heat and sunlight from glass windows.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Some teachers are rude. The teaching quality is good. As a female, it is not good when a teacher comments on our clothing during exams. The principal is rude and doesn't know how to talk with students respectfully.
Other: Our college organises many events every year. The course doesn't require full-time attendance, so that's good. It's not like other colleges where you can attend a lecture and go out if you don't want to attend the others. It is mandatory to attend all lectures once you are in the college. The internal marking system is horrible. They give you bad internal marks. I could have got a distinction if our college decided not to give marks like 14/30 in all subjects. It was relatively easy for me to achieve more than 50 out of 70 marks in external exams.

Satisfactory facilities at the college.
Placements: Our college successfully placed a significant portion, approximately 40-50 percent, of students in our esteemed course. The highest package offered stood at 16 LPA, while the lowest package was 2 LPA, with an average package of 4 LPA for our course. Prominent recruiting companies such as Kotak, Axis Bank, Metallic ind, and others actively sought students from our program. It is worth noting that around 70% of students secured internships, further enhancing their practical experience.
Infrastructure: Our college provided Wi-Fi access to the students. The college's labs and libraries were well-equipped. The classrooms were both spacious and air-conditioned. The quality of these facilities was commendable. Similarly, the facilities in our hostel also maintained a high standard. Moreover, the food available in the mess was of good quality and enjoyable to eat.
Faculty: The teachers at our college were exceptionally supportive, skilled, and well-informed. The standard of teaching was outstanding. The curriculum of this course offered by the college was highly applicable, equipping students with the necessary skills for the industry. The exams conducted at the college were not excessively challenging. In fact, the pass percentage at our college was an impressive 90%.

It is the best college in Ahmedabad.
Placements: Best placements are provided to all the students in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest salary package is 2 LPA, and the average salary package is 4 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Placements are provided on campus.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide hostels but suggests some PGs near the college. Classes are centrally air-conditioned. Food served in the canteen is of premium quality. Mess serves vada pav, idly sambhar, Maggie, veg puff, and cooldrinks.
Faculty: The difficulty level of papers is the same as the university paper. Exam pattern is averagely difficult. If students thoroughly read the syllabus they can easily score good marks. Papers are set on the basis of the mindset of the students.

Our college is the best in GU.
Placements: Placements and job opportunities are pretty average. B.Com students can't expect an astonishing salary package. Many students of our batch are doing internships off-campus and preparing for future exams.
Infrastructure: College is a 6-7 floor building equipped with a library, and an elevator, and the whole campus is being monitored. Campus is good. The maintenance of chairs in the classroom is pretty good. There is a canteen on the ground floor, the price and quality are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. The way they communicate and explain the topics make the student easily understand and learn. One unit test is held every semester before the main exam. Exams are pretty easy if you study before and do one assignment of 9 subjects every semester.
