The college memories are worth sharing and cannot be expressed in this short note.

Placements: 70% of my batch mates are placed and the minimum package offered is 6 lacs per annum and the maximum is 12 lacs per annum. About 70 members are placed in 17 multi-national companies around the country. About 20 members are placed at the consultancy firms for the state and central governments.

Review of SPAV, an institute of national importance.

Placements: From my experience, it's a diverse course where the students choose their career options like opting for higher education (PG or PhD), entrepreneurship or working in MNCs, offices, firms and also prepare for government jobs. Some of the students choose to work in the movie field as set-designers and assistant directors etc. The training and placement cell of the institute also supports the students by showing different job opportunities, especially in MNCs or in the government sector. Private fi...

. Just another honest review.

Placements: Placements in a college of architecture and planning are not required. The students here are well-equipped with the necessary means to get a job on their own means and of their own choice. From my experience, even if placements are offered, the students who get selected do not take up the offer and those who do, do not last long in the same place, mainly because of the nature of the job we do. Other than for this, the faculty do their best to help the students in all ways possible, such as getti...

SPA Vijayawada is a top-class institute of national importance and provides an excellent education.

Placements: Students from SPA Vijayawada got placed very well in top design, architecture and planning firms and companies, research institutes and generally opt for their professional life. As our university focuses on providing practical and research-oriented education, students are very well-equipped with the knowledge which is desired in the field. There is an active placement cell in our institute, which strived to provide great placement offers to students from the year 2018. The placement cell provid...

A great place for learning.

Placements: Since it is architecture and planning college, placements are not very popular. Most of the graduating students look for firms matching their interest and in favorable locations and apply. However, from the college end, they prepare a placement brochure which is a consolidated document containing information about students of the graduating batch. This brochure is then mailed to various firms across India to aid in placements.

A reputable government college is providing a good opportunity to students to enter into the field.

Placements: Until the batch which graduated last year, there was no placement cell in college. All the students who got placed in the firms had to make their arrangements and efforts but as of now, the effort has been made by the college, and a placement cell has been formed. Talking about the percentage of students who got placed, it was such that all of them who had interest in respective fields got placed, maybe not with good pay but they were placed, while the rest are pursuing further studies. When it ...

SPAV - the planning school's review.

Placements: For my batch, none of the placements was provided by the college so far after taking our resumes and other details many a time. Only six out of the 30 students were placed from my senior's batch. Andhra Pradesh government has approached this college for certain projects, but none of them progressed to the placement or the real projects. Only six of them were mentioned before giving the priority to Telugu speaking students despite a central government university, and here, students are coming fro...

College of national importance with good faculty but poor facilities

Placements: Presently, there is no placement cell in the architecture department. The college is planning to start a cell this year. About the internship, students who are not able to search for an internship on their own are helped by the college to get a good internship. The stipend ranges from 2 thousand to 12 thousand. Students working in Delhi got the highest stipend.

A great place to learn planning and architecture, good faculties, bad administration. Messy mess.

Placements: There is as such no official placement cell in the college as of now. But an effort is going on. Students passing out from bachelor's course get into jobs or higher studies. Students get a job after applying for different firms and companies personally or through contacts and references of faculty members and seniors. I too got a job after my one of the seniors recommended me in a company in Lucknow. The average salary for fresh graduates is between 20-30k (which is quite less). Few companies an...

Satisfied because of the infrastructure and location of the college.

Placements: There were no placements for B.Arch students. However, there was a good response from architectural firms when we apply for the 4th year (7th semester) practical training program. Last year, only M.Plan students got placements from APCRDA region. 6 out of 13 people were selected. They got with an initial salary of about Rs.30,000/-.

For Master's in sustainable architecture, it is the best place to study in India.

Placements: In general, architecture college won’t provide placement like others. But here, no placements were arranged and we are the first batch. We searched jobs on our own, partially got placed at the minimum package of 22k - 50k and at an average package of 30 k. Students who didn't get placed in core jobs they easily got teaching profession at a package of 40k. Only, the name of the college helped to get placed in both the companies and in teaching profession.

Apart from the infrastructure facilities, which are going to be provided very soon by the college, college has a very good faculty and exposure. It is an institute of national importance like IITs and IIMs. It is considered to be one of the best colleges in India for Bachelor of Planning course. I would recommend the students; they can look forward for this institute and especially for Bachelor of Planning.

Absolutely a unique course to do

Placements: Firstly these courses are not like regular engineering so, these don't have placement kind of things, it has internships and mostly developing your self for government jobs too, to be honest you need to do more projects, internships and you have to perceive masters if you want a better position in this field

I am very happy to be a part of this college. The campus life is the best in this college.

Placements: The placement cell was established in the year 2019. Many companies arcome here. If you have good skills you can get the job. There are many job or higher education opportunities after passing out from this college. The college has a good name in Architecture and Planning sector.

Talking about architectural college spav.

Placements: I think one should not think about placements in architecture. And my college is not having a particular section called placements. Because it's is now developing like other top national colleges. So we may get to know about placement slot soon. Recently our faculty also tried to make one attempt to bring some companies to the campus.
