NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: 64.2% of the batch is placed in civil engineering, as civil engineering is less valuable without a master's degree. The highest salary this year is 9.50 LPA, and the median is 8.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Larsen & Toubro and Capgemini. I am not aware of the percentage of students who got internships in civil engineering.

Placements: The placement rate is approximately 80%. The maximum package is about 20 LPA in Civil Engineering. In my opinion, my branch and seniors are good.

Placements: Around 76 students are in my batch. The highest package for chemical engineering last year (2023) was 52 lakh, while the lowest is not specified. The top recruiter was HUL (Hindustan Unilever), and a total of 100% of students got placed last year, with an average package of around 10 lakh.

Placements: 70-80% placements in the Civil Engineering branch. Many companies, including L&T, visit the campus. The average package in Civil Engineering is 6.5 LPA, with the highest package around 11 LPA. Companies that come for internships include the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), which offers an internship stipend of around 15,000.

Placements: Nearly above 75-85 students get placed. Others go for higher studies and government jobs like PSUs through GATE. The average package is around 12 LPA. I am in the 3rd year, and one month back, a company named Accenture came to campus to provide us with internships and placements for the 4th year. I don't know about the final year, but I saw the result that 12 students for internships and 23 for placements got selected.

Placements: The placement are on an average of 10 to 11 LPA, including all branch wise. At top, in terms of placement is CSE, after that is ECE, electrical, mechanical and then chemical. One more thing placement depends on you, how you improve yourself here.

The top recruiters are Accenture, Maruti, Technip and Alstom. Also, many IT-related companies were the top recruiters.

A lot of students get internships from various companies around the country, and many opt for higher studies from various colleges.

Dell and other companies offered internships, with 50% of students receiving on-campus internships, while others secured internships off-campus. Top roles were in the IT field, including web development and app development.

Placements: At least 90% of students got placed. The average package is 10 LPA. Top recruiters for our college are Dell, Cisco, Infosys, etc. Almost 90%+ students got internships not just from our course but from the whole college. They provide placement opportunities according to your interest.

Placements: Our seniors got placements. The placement percentage is 90%. The highest salary package offered in 2024 is 1.8 CPA. It is very good. This course provides us with various opportunities. I want to go to many other branches. Our college provides placements in technical companies for computer science students.

Placements: A total 108 students were placed out of 125 students enrolled last year, i.e., 2023. The highest package is 18 lakhs per year, and 8 lakhs is the average package. Top companies are Orient, Havells, etc. The top role offered in my course is as assistant engineer as a fresher.

Top recruiters from both the technology and core industries come to the campus every year to hire students. Students were placed in almost every field they wanted to go into, and many students even received multi-crore packages. The highest package offered was 1.73 crores.

Furthermore, the robust alumni network plays a pivotal role in securing internships and placements for a significant number of our students.
