Placements: Here, it is the oldest college in Asia. It has immense potential for placements. On average there are above 80% of placements in circuital branches (on campus). About 50% of students got placed in core branches. It is about that with the help of government jobs for core branches, we will be there in the comfort of life.

Placements: Regarding placements, the department boasts a nearly 100% placement rate annually. The average salary package offered is around INR 14.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is INR 1.54 crore. These statistics highlight the departments strong industry connections, and the high demand for its graduates.

Placements: Out of 174 students, nearly 100 get placed every year. This information was not provided to us. Companies such as Google Silicon Engineering, Jaguar, and PWC recruit from our batch. Around 60% of students are placed in companies like Google Silicon Engineering, Jaguar, PWC, Myntra, etc. The average salary package offered for an electrical engineering student is about 20 LPA.

Placements: 90% students got placed with an average package of 24 LPA. The highest package was offered around 40 LPA and the lowest around 12 LPA. ONGC, Schlumberger, Amazon, ICICI Bank, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, and American Express are top recruiters. 80% students got an internship, and for some, it got converted into PPOs. Data Scientists, SDE, Core roles were offered along with others.

Placements: Placements are fair enough at IIT Roorkee. If you maintain a CGPA greater than 7, it would be sure that you will be placed. Although most of the students get PPO from companies where they have done internships. For internships, there are fewer companies comparatively. In my batch of chemical engineering, out of 120, only 26 students got internships. While for higher branches, opportunities are at speak.

Placements: There are 1600 students in our batch and from that, only 800,000 have been placed till now. The highest package is 1.5 crores, the lowest is 6 lakhs, and the average package is 25 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Also, like placements, only 50% of student got internships in many big and small companies. The top roles offered in our course are software development engineering, hardware engineering, data science, and data analysis.

Placements: From my branch, 54 students out of 79 were placed in different good companies in the world and India. The highest package is 2.5 crore and the least package is 12 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are mainly tech companies like IBM. Approximately 30 to 40 percent of students got internships.

Placements: I'm in my prefinal year, and about 80 out of 170 students in our electrical engineering batch got internships with top companies in phase 1. When it comes to senior placements, our college stacks up well against other colleges. As of December, 120 out of 160 seniors had been placed with companies like FAANG, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, BCG, and PWC.

Placements: One of the best part of college is it has a very good alumni network and very good connections with high-paying companies like Google and Alphabet. These companies offer a variety of positions to students, so we can match our skill sets. The entire cost to the company on average is around 47 LPA.

Placements: The placement scenario is really good most of the time. Various opportunities are provided throughout the course duration, allowing individuals ample time to study and prepare. Top tech companies visit the campus, and the highest package has reached up to 2 crores per annum in some cases.

Placements: There is a placement and internship cell in IITR which helps the students to get placements. The internship ratio of IITR is not that good; only 1/3 of the students got internships, and from that, most of them are from the circuit branch. The internship ratio in the non-circuit branch is bad. But the placements are awesome in IITR. Most of the students who sit in placements get that.

Placements: Electrical engineering students get 87% of placements. The highest package offered was 54 LPA, the average package was 15-18 LPA, and the lowest was 8 LPA. For core Texas instruments, Tata Steel, and Jaguar, and also non-core domain PwC, tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon are the top recruiters.

Placements: As I know, 33 out of 30 students get placed in good companies. Others are following their passion and do not appear for placements. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 18 LPA. From our course, we can become a financial assistant, marketing manager, advisory, and many more.

Placements: Most of the students who prepared well got placed. The average salary package offered is around 24 LPA. Recruiters are Texas, Tata Steel, etc. Overall placements are average, but the main key factor is Roorkee not being a metro city as compared to other IITs. They mostly are in metro cities.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed. We can find jobs in every aspect. The highest salary package offered in the last year was 1.05 CPA. The average salary package offered in the B.Tech course is 18 LPA. The salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA. Internships are difficult to find in our course because it's not open for us in coding and all other companies.

Placements: Mostly students who try for placements genuinely get placed. Almost 90% of students got placed. Around 45% of students get internships. The highest salary package offered is 94 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Quantbox, Uber, and many more visit the college. Software developer and quant roles are offered mostly.

Placements: Almost 80% of our students land jobs after graduation. The highest salary package is around 60-70 Lacs rupees per annum (LPA), while the lowest is about 6-7 LPA. Most students average around 11-12 LPA. We've got some big-name recruiters like Tata Motors, BMW, and General Electric snapping up our students! Internships are also a breeze, with about 60% of students scoring them. Siemens and Tata Steel are some of the top companies that offer internships to our students.

Placements: In the middle of the 7th semester, company tests are started. Many big companies came to our college for placements like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Samsung, JLR, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, American Express, etc. So this year, nearly about 900 offers were made by different companies. The highest package is of 1.5 crores and the average is about 25 lakhs. So this year nearly about 1600 students are sitting for placements but only 800-900 got placements till now. Placements: Around 70-90% of students get placed in my course, and of the batch, 85-95% of students get placed. The highest package of my course has been 50 LPA, and the lowest ranges around 8–9 LPA. Various companies allow my course students to be eligible for internship or placements. About 50% of students got internships from my course in various companies from BCG, HUL, JSW, etc. Companies come for various roles like software developers, product managers, analysts, etc.

Placements: In this course, about 85 to 90 percent of students were placed. The highest package in this course is 1 crore, and the lowest package is 6 lakhs per annum. Top recruitment companies in this college include Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. About 90 percent of students got internships in this course, with the top roles offered being software and hardware engineer.
