B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2022

Dissatisfied because of the faculty, and good placements this year.
Placements: Only a few students were placed in our course and no packages were offered for our course not only our course but also other courses, no companies come to our college and none got the internship. The worst college and I prefer not to join this average college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are not bad and faculty and the teaching is not proper and canteen is not good. Sports and games are played once in the college and the first aid kit is only under medical facilities and the hostel and mess are only for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful and knowledgeable and the course curriculum is irrelevant and does not make the students ready for the industries and the pass percentage is less as the curriculum is irrelevant and non-helpful faculty makes the semester exams difficult.

Diploma in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2016
3.6

I'm satisfied with very good lab and infrastructure, library, nice teaching skills of teachers, etc.
Placements: There are no campus placements in this college. There are no campus placements for mining engineering in this college. None of the companies visits our college to recruit mining engineering students. All students get 30 days of internships in SCCL.
Infrastructure: There is a very good and nice infrastructure in our college. There is a very good library, and all branch books are available in it. There is a very pleasant environment in the library, and it is a good place all over the college. There are excellent labs, and all the equipment are available in it. There are nice lab in-charges. I am not a hosteller and a day scholar. There is a very good canteen, where the food is served at a very high cost. Our college has a huge ground, and only cricket is played on it. There are no other indoor games, etc.
Faculty: There are very good faculty members here, and they qualified B.Tech in mining. Some faculty members have qualified M.Tech in mining, and they clarify any doubt about the subject. They have very good and nice teaching skills. They are very well knowledgeable. In labs, teachers are very skilful, and they are very helpful in it. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry, and faculty members share their experience with us.
Other: I chose this course based on my family and teachers suggestions. There are a huge number of opportunities in overseas and India. There are very good teachers, but very few faculty members in mining should be improved. Only one fest is held in my 2nd year in the month of February. Faculty members celebrate Sankranti and some other days like August 15, etc. They will give prizes for winners in the event. TS government offers scholarships for TS students who are eligible for them. If they are not eligible for scholarships, they have to pay the total fee on their own.

Satisfied with the teaching and infrastructure.
Placements: In my college during my bath 2012- 2016 no companies came for campus placements. But after my batch some companies came to my college they gave package around 12000 per month. They are BPO companies. Some of those companies asked to sign bond. Few students joined mostly did not join.
Infrastructure: There is no wi-fi in college but infrastructure in my department was good. Classrooms are very vast and spacious. Library is abundant of books but they give only 3 books for a semester. If you pay extra money for books they give all books. There is no hostel in my college. In every week for two hours they give game hour. There is big ground and Indoor games.
Faculty: Teacher are good but not top-notch though. Some of the faculty are Very friendly. Always ready to explain doubts and mostly digital lectures are given. But yes the course is curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Quality of teaching is good. They are very professional.
Other: I'm an electrical and electronics engineering student. I'm interested in electrical so I chose this group. The best thing about this group is practical learning. No need tho mug up. Need to improve in this course is to make changes in syllabus according to the present equipments. They conducted lot of events and activities.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2013

I am not satisfied because of the faculty and no placements.
Placements: We are 2013 passed out batch. Our college management never arranged for any placement drives for our course in our college. No one from our course got placed through our college. We faced a lot of difficulties to get a job due to the negligence of college management in arranging for placement drives.
Infrastructure: The best thing I liked in our college was its library. We had a very good library with good infrastructure. Our college management provided books written by various authors and other journals. We also have a good computer lab and a huge playground in our college.
Faculty: We mostly used to have guest lecturers for core subjects as we don't have permanent lecturers appointed by our college management. Due to that, we faced many difficulties in completing the syllabus on time. It resulted in the poor performance of many students in examinations.
Other: I was very passionate about civil engineering since my childhood. Hence, I have chosen that course. I wish college management can provide more practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge.

Sree Kavitha Engineering College is the best for electrical engineering.
Placements: Placements in our college are very poor. No company visited the college for placements, and no student got placed through campus placements. The salary offered ranged from Rs. 10,000-40,000 per month. Average students got internships from college. The stipend offered for one year is Rs. 6,000. My seniors didn't get placed in any company.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available on the campus. Students are not allowed to use mobile phones in the college. Labs are excellent, especially for electrical students. All the labs are available. We play sports every day. Every year, the college conducts a tournament. The canteen is very bad, and the food is too expensive.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly and highly qualified, especially in my branch. They are very knowledgeable. Teaching methods are very good. We go for industrial visits every year. The teaching quality in my branch is good compared to other branches.
Other: No fests are conducted in the college.

I'm satisfied with the placements.
Placements: The college invites companies for placements, but the students don't get placed. Students will receive offer letters, but when we go to Hyderabad or Bangalore to join the company, the students can't even find the company at the given address.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. We have good buildings compared to other colleges in this area. The college has an excellent central library. The college is well-maintained, and it is very clean.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, and some are not that good. They hire B.Tech graduates to teach some subjects. There are no proper faculty members for some subjects. In the civil and mechanical branches, the final year students will teach the first year students.
