Partially satisfied with the highly qualified teaching staff, average placements and facilities.
Placements: Placements of the batches were quite less impressive compared to other colleges in the city. Almost 70% of the students got placed in the year 2018. The highest salary package offered to students was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra, etc., visited the campus for placements. Roles offered to the students were a financial assistant, advisory etc.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. The college has an inclusive of botany lab. All the classrooms are equipped with smart technology offered by HRD ministry. The college offers a variety of games. The college is among the top colleges for the basketball game in the city. A medical room is available separately with good doctors. The college includes two canteens with a capacity of 100 students at a time. Quality of food served is very good. The college offers hostel facilities both for boys and girls, which are highly maintained by the staff. The issue we faced in the college was with the washrooms which were filthy and dirty. This is the drawback of the college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and helpful. Modern teaching methods are used nowadays. The course which I am pursuing is very useful as many live interaction sessions with laureate were organised. They were helpful.
Other: In 2017, youth fest was arranged in SGGS College. That function was quite impressive. SGGS College Bhangra is quite popular as the first prize of Bhangra in the youth fest is bagged by SGGS every year.

It is an average college with good infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are provided for the students of professional courses, not for simple courses like MA. They have to try on their own through off-campus placements. The placements are good for professional courses such as B.Com and BBA. Approximately, 20% of the students get final placements in the companies. The average salary offered is around Rs. 15,000 per month. No internship is provided for M.A students, as they are also offered only to the students of other professional courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is up to date and new. It feels like you are studying in a good college. The offices are spacious. Wi-Fi facility is not available. Classrooms are spacious, neat and clean. Many grounds like a football ground, basketball court, lawn tennis court, etc., are available in the college. The canteen is spacious. The quality of fast food provided is good, and a lot of people enjoy the food. I was a day scholar, so I don't know much about the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are good and helpful to every student. They help the students with their studies and also other personal problems. The teaching method is old, in which, they read the books, explain the topic and write it on the board. I did not get any industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful as this is the base for higher studies, and you have to opt for graduation if you want to achieve something in future.

The college have a bad reputation but teachers are really good .
Placements: No one took the placement as the companies were not offering a good package, the highest package was of ?25000 per month and the lowest of ?16000 per month. Anyone hardly got any internship using the course as most students aimed for government jobs or teaching jobs. Content writers was the only role offered to us by placement cell.
Infrastructure: The hostel of our college is quite decent with 24 hours free Wi-Fi facility though you can use Wi-Fi for a few website only for studying and apps. The food of the hostel was also decent with proper hygiene and nutrition value. We don't have any medical facilities but the college has give many Olympic players when it come to sports, especially in hockey.
Faculty: The college is affiliated from Panjab university hence the curriculum, exams and pass percentage all are set by panjan university. This college in particular offers, British literature, critical theory, post colonial literature, approached to literary criticism, research methodology, american literature and literature from Punjab as subjects. Writing a dissertation and research methodology are optional subjects we can choose one similarly one can choose between American literature and literature from Punjab. Each exam consists of 5 questions 16 marks each and exam is of 80 marks. One require 33% marks to pass and the semester exams are easy to pass but difficult to score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of the excellent teachers who did their job perfectly. The course itself is good though the college needs to have better selection system as the crowd is really bad. The college is the best college under Punjab University when it comes to youth fest, sports and other extracurricular activities as we win most of the trophies.

It is the most affordable college in Chandigarh.
Placements: Around 20-25% of students got placed in B.Com with good salary packages. The highest salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Wipro, and TCS. Top roles offered are bank manager, financial analyst, and accounts manager. The salary package offered by Wipro in 2022 was 6 LPA. The top role offered is accounts manager.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college. It has a peaceful campus. The hostel facilities are very good. Students are satisfied with the hostel facilities. Our college has very good canteens which offer great food and service.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. They teach very well. If a student attends classes regularly and attentively, then no extra coaching is needed. The course is very skillful. It makes students industry-ready. There are different subjects in different semesters through which students get to learn something new. The difficulty level in semester exams is good. Almost 90% of students pass exams with great marks.
Other: I chose this course because I am from a commerce background, and I wanted to opt for a course through which I get multiple career options. It will be easy for me to pick a career according to my interest. Our college should improve the parking space for students.
