Placements: Students didn't get placements this year from our course as most of the students are interested in higher education. Job opportunities provided are also not that much good, and the salary offered just starts from Rs. 18,000-20,000 per month. However, internships are available here. Teachers are good enough to help the students for their internships.
Placements: 1. 60% of students were placed in my course. 2. The highest salary was 70000 per month. And the lowest salary was 25000 per month and the average was 40000 per month. 3. Kpmg, Genpact, airtel, Deloitte are the recruiting companies. 5. The highest package was 9 Lacs per annum, the lowest package was 3 lakhs per annum, the average package was 4.5 Lacs 6 70% got internship in KPMG, Airtel, Genpact.
Placements: I have joined my college in 2012, remained there till 2015 but I never came to know that there is anything called placement cell. Yes, It is also true that I never tried to know about such things. There was some scholarship facilities for marginalized sections of society. I also received 5000 annually for two years. But after completion of my graduation, I did not get any placement.
Placements: Most of the students don't opt for placements in B.Com (Hons) as they prefer to study further. I don't know exactly the salary packages, but the highest salary package of around 5 LPA and the lowest salary package of 3 LPA and the average salary package of nearly 4 LPA were offered. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, Deloitte and Flipkart.
Placements: Approximately 30 students got placed as there were no recruiting company. Internships were mainly offered to commerce students. I don't know about the salary package. There were no internships for our course, as there is no separate life science department in the college. So teachers don't bother much about life science students.
Placements: The Placements of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa are not very good as compared to other north campus colleges, only B.Com (honors & programme) students get placement offer, but the chances of getting a good placement offer are very rare. The lowest package offered last year was 2.5 LPA whereas the average package was between 3-4 LPA.
Placements: College doesn't provide placements in English Hons, unlike B.Com and economics hon. Students can apply for internships and jobs in content writing or other related fields through Internshala or LinkedIn. Also, most of the students pursue M.A. in English literature after their under graduation.
Placements: There were negligible placement opportunities. Most of the students applied for placements on their own outside the campus. The 2 companies that came to college selected 5 students in total out of the batch of 42 with packages around 4 LPA CTC. Most students opted out of the placements.
Placements: Placements at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College is not that good as compared to other North Campus colleges. However, in recent years, the college has improved in placements department. Many students got placements. Many companies visited our college and offered good salary packages.
Placements: The average package offered was 4 lacs per annum, and the highest package offered till now is 9 lacs per annum. There is a separate placement cell for each department. Companies which visit our college are Byju's, Karvy etc. Most of the students get placed, but some opt for PG courses.
Placements: None of the companies visited for the placements for B.Sc Chemistry. Students in my batch mainly preferred to pursue Masters, only because they would have better chances to get a job with this background. Some of us prepared for competitive exams to get government jobs, and I too preferred it over a master degree, and I got one government job after qualifying an exam. At present most of my batchmates are pursuing research and teaching.
Placements: There are no placements for B.Sc. courses, but you can go for M.Sc. in any branch. Teachers will surely help you in preparing for M.Sc. examination. DU offers very few placements. Many conferences are held in the college for students to plan their career, especially for commerce students.
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty decent. Placements in our college are the lowest in North Campus, but pretty good generally. Recently, companies have started to visit the campus for placements. The highest package offered is around 9 LPA. Students can expect a salary package of almost 3-4 LPA if you have a modest GPA, i.e., around 6.5. Companies like KPMG, Bain, E&Y, etc., are some of the recruiters. It is not the best choice if campus placement is your sole consideration.
Placements: There is no placement cell for this course. However, fields like content writing, journalism, teaching were a few options explored wherein the faculty helped. BPOs were another field people could enter. Students mostly pursued higher education to supplement their bachelor's degree.
Placements: There were around 3 to 4 placement drives, specifically for B.Com students, from E&Y, KPMG and American Express. The average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA for the role of an analyst. Many students got selected. The whole process was escalated smoothly and efficiently.
Placements: Placements are surely an issue in this college. The placement cell is not that much active, and it's only beneficial for B.Com students and Economics (Hons.) students but not for Science and arts students. One can easily get internships from this college as this college hosts an internship fair every year.
Placements: Placements in our college were pretty decent. Companies like Ernst & Young, Zomato, etc., visited our campus and offered positions related to our field which was accounting, auditing and finance. The salary package offered ranged from 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. The selection is done by conducting 3 to 4 interview rounds.
Placements: Ignite is the placement cell that is engaged in providing placements to students. They invite various companies for recruitment purposes. In the first half of 2019, nearly 50 students got placed in various companies. The highest CTC offered till now is 9 LPA. According to what I have observed in my college life, nearly 75-100 students get placed, and the average CTC offered is 3-4 LPA, and the rest depends upon your knowledge and talent. Companies like E&Y, American Express, etc., visited the co...
Placements: I have been a part of Ignite, the placement cell of SGTB Khalsa College, since August 2016 as a placement coordinator. Let me give you a glimpse of what changes I have seen in the placements since joining the cell. NAAC accredited our college with an A grade in 2016. Last year, companies like EY India and EY GDS have visited the college for recruitment. We also had Teach For India (for fellowship programme), American Express and FIS Global this year. Apart from these, we had recruitment offers f...
Placements: The placement cell of our college called Ignite is great. Placements are good if you are pursuing graduation in B.Com or B.Com honours. Every year, many opportunities are provided to students to get placed. Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TresVista, and Cvent are some of the companies that visit the college for placements. The college does not provide any on-campus placements for B.Sc physical science students. So, I am not very much sure about the average package offered to the selected st...
