Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2023

Our college infrastructure is good but needs to improve teaching quality.
Placements: Our college does not have campus interview opportunities. It is a new college so they do not offer any campus placements. None of the students get placed. Many top companies offer jobs for this course like Sun Pharma (USA), Johnson & Johnson, etc. Students can get internships off-campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good on campus. They do not have a proper water connection or a water heater. Wi-Fi is enabled on our campus and hostel. The main thing is that mobile phones are prohibited in the hostel. They seize your mobile phones and do not return them so you should be careful. They also have food scarcity.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average because most of the staff members have only completed master's degrees. Students are industry-ready in their final year. Semester exams are very tough because question papers are framed by Dr. MGR University, Tamil Nadu. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: After 12th, my relatives told me to choose this course and I opted for this college in medical counseling. Events are conducted every year.

Good learning environment, quality placements, and supportive faculty members in the B.Pharma progra
Placements: In the B.Pharma batch of 2023, around 60% of students received placements. The top salary packages reaching approximately INR 5 LPA and an average salary package offering around INR 3 LPA. Leading recruiters included pharmaceutical companies such as Cipla, Lupin, and Sun Pharma. About 70% of students received internships in roles like regulatory affairs trainee and quality control analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college provided well-equipped laboratories, a spacious library, and Wi-Fi across the campus, which supported our studies effectively. Hostel facilities were adequate, with hygienic mess food and well-maintained rooms. Medical support was available on campus, and sports facilities included both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Our professors were experienced, knowledgeable, and approachable. They are always ready to help with practical applications. The curriculum covered essential industry topics, making us ready for pharmaceutical roles. Exams were moderately challenging, with a passing rate above 80% in each semester.
Other: I chose B.Pharma to build a career in pharmaceutical sciences, and I found the lab work and faculty guidance very beneficial. Improvements could be made by increasing industry tie-ups for more internship options. Total fees for the course were approximately INR 1.5 Lacs, covering all academic and hostel expenses.
