A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is it worth pursuing BE/BTech at Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology?

Here's a summary of the key points:

Pros:

* Good Placement Record: 75% placement rate with packages ranging from INR2 LPA to INR12 LPA.
* Top Recruiters: Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Hexaware recruit students regularly.
* Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, including modern classrooms, Wi-Fi-enabled labs, and a well-maintained library.
* Friendly Faculty: Faculties are experienced, knowledgeable, and willing to help students.

Cons:

* Limited Facilities: Limited sports facilities and no extracurricular activities.
* Older Curriculum: Course curriculum may be outdated, leading to difficulties in passing exams.
* Placement Issues: Fewer placements compared to other colleges, and occasional instances of fake recruitment drives.

Neutral Points:

* Decent Pass Percentage: Pass percentage ranges from 60% to 100%.
* Varied Salary Packages: Salary packages vary greatly depending on the company and position.

Based on these points, it seems that while Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology has its strengths (good placement record, decent infrastructure), it also faces challenges (limited facilities, outdated curriculum). Therefore, whether or not it's worth pursuing BE/BTech here depends on individual priorities and expectations.

If you're looking for a college with strong industry connections and a relatively good placement record, Srinivasa Institute might be a good choice. However, if you prioritize extracurricular activities, state-of-the-art facilities, or a cutting-edge curriculum, you might want to consider other options. Ultimately, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully and research thoroughly before making a decision.

Campus life is good in college.
Placements: The placement percentage at my college is 75% and above. Students are selected for placements, with the highest package being 4 LPA. Wipro is the top company, and other companies offer packages around 2 LPA. As long as internships are done in college.
Infrastructure: In my college, they conduct an annual fest every year. They organize technical fests named pragyan every year for students. There are 2 libraries in my college that are very helpful to the students. They conduct annual sports festivals every year. Students communicate in their WhatsApp groups for announcements.
Faculty: The curriculum activities should be done in college itself. There is a seminar hall where students give seminars which help them with real-life experience and examples. The faculty of subjects is very good. They are very friendly.

This college is specially recommended for toppers who have to get a job in a good MNC.
Placements: 60% of students got placements at good MNC's. The highest package is 12 LPA. And the lowest package is 3 LPA. My college has collaborated with some famous companies, such as Hexaware, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. CSE students got internships at BluePrism University.
Infrastructure: In my college, the infrastructure is very old but looks like newly constructed buildings with a very beautiful garden. There is a Wi-Fi but only authorized users can use it. If a student wants Wi-Fi, get permission from the head or principal. Canteen and mess food is very tasty and worth the money. There are no sports.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and teach in new and easy ways. The curriculum is very old and not used for placements. Exams are very tough but the pass percentage is good. Some teachers are not teaching well, so students use YouTube to learn those subjects and pass those subjects with a good percentage of marks. In my branch, 80% of students have passed.

This college is good for toppers because there is no freedom for the students.
Placements: 50 percent students are placed in top MNCs and they got a package of 12Lpa. The lowest package of this college is 1.5LPA. The highest package of this college of 12LPA. Top recruiting companies are BYJUS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and many more. Every student got internship in top MNC's.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facility is provided to the students but there is a Wi-Fi connection which can be used by college faculty and college management. In my college, only one central library is present. In library, there are no useful books for students. Books are very old version. There are no extra curricular activities and no sports. But canteen food is good.
Faculty: There are qualified faculty but teaching is not nice. Faculty's teaching is excellent. The college curriculum is very tough and difficult to understand. The curriculum is not useful for the students because it is an older version. Every student learns subjects from Youtube and google.
Other: I chose CSE because it is an on demand course to get jobs easily. But I am totally wrong, in this course competition is very high because now a days recession occurs for software industries.

The beautiful journey of 2024.
Placements: The placement percentage at my college is 75% and above. Students are selected for placements, with the highest package being 4 LPA. Wipro is the top company, and other companies offer packages around 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The labs at my college are good, but the equipment is not up to par. Wi-Fi is not available, and mobile phones are not allowed. However, the library is excellent. Regarding facilities, sports are average, food is good, and medical facilities are developed.
Faculty: The faculty is good, providing clear explanations in my branch and others. The teachers explain concepts well, and the semester difficulty is 2-2, with some students having arrears. The pass percentage is around 60.
Other: The information I would like to share is to improve the festival and provide some freedom at my college. The best thing about my college is its proximity to my home.
