Review of SSR College of Arts, Commerce and Science.

Placements: Data scientist, competitive programmer, and software developer are the top roles offered in our course. It is a good institution for those students who are opportunity grabbers.

Infrastructure: One of the best things is its infrastructure. We have both girls and boys hostels with proper lodging and boarding facility. College has a properly enabled classroom, a library, a digital library, and fully equipped laboratories. Campus has cricket ground, volleyball court, basketball court, open gym, table tennis, and other Indore games facilities.

Faculty: Primary level and junior college teachers have 12 years, and UG level and PG level faculty have 16 years of teaching experience. In Administration, principal has 12 years and the registrar has 2 years of experience. Total Experience 40 years. Teachers are so down that they can even get their time for us if we have doubts.

Other: There are various fests celebrated like traditional day, Halloween day, Bollywood day, casual day, cultural day, group day even it has a fresher and farewell party and every social event has to be celebrated in our colleges.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members, the good infrastructure, and the facilities.

Placements: More than 50% of students were placed as per their specialisation course, skill and knowledge. Roles offered in our course can be assistant manager of marketing and human resources management. The salary package offered in our course ranges from 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Our college provide internships.

Infrastructure: Adequate drinking water and washroom facilities are available on the campus. The library, different common rooms for boys and girls, sports complex, basketball ground, wi-fi, labs, air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned classrooms, medical facilities, transportation facilities, etc., are available on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members at our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the facilities is understandable. Both theoretical and practical knowledge are provided. Industrial visits, guest lectures, and summer projects are there to improve skills and knowledge.

Good campus, amazing facilities, but some are rude.

Placements: Most 80% students got placed. The highest package - 5,00,000, average package - 3,50,000, the lowest package - 2,00,000. TCS is the top company. Mostly 90% students from B.Com. Banks like HDFC, ICICI, Kotak Bank also come for placements. They do not give placements to all students.

Infrastructure: Cleaning is better, rooms are also spacious. Sports room, Wi-Fi, hygienic food, library, study room, and many more. They have a time issue, and some cleaners are rude with all. They don't hesitate to walk in the room. Mess food is not on time.

Faculty: Internal marks are also given suspiciously. All teachers are Ph.D. professors. The course is very equivalent but lacks practical knowledge. They give fewer marks to some students whose attendance is not 90%. This is one bad point about this college.

Other: Enjoy every moment in your college life. The campus is amazing. Every course is best for this institute. Please provide more practical classes. They do not provide much. Events are not many.

I am dissatisfied with placements.

Placements: In Ssr college placement, a company visited called vista solutions is hiring only finance people, and eventually, there is no finance specialization in this college for BBA. There is no company for HR in placement. No student was willing to get placement because there is only one company for placement which is below average. The highest package offered was 2LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. The college campus was clean all the time, and a variety of foods was offered in the canteen, Wi-Fi is available, but students get limited data, the classroom was good, projectors are available in every class, and the auditorium is there in this college.

Faculty: The semester exam is not difficult. There is a 2019 credit pattern, that offers a grading system for exam results. There was one industrial visit conducted by the college in 3years of our course. The teachers were good. Various events were like the fresher party, farewell, sports events, etc. The library was good. There is a sports complex in the college.

Why should you choose SSR? - Honest Review.

Placements: For my course, Bachelor of Business Administration, there were no placement opportunity provided as such by the college itself. But if you be in touch with the faculty, they will guide you to get good placements, if that's what you're looking for. I believe that placements must not be the only end result, if you gain knowledge, insights, and degree, you would be self sufficient to apply for jobs you like.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is pretty good. There's one building all together for arts, commerce and Science. Wi-Fi has limited usage access. There is a computer lab for our use. There's a library with good amount of knowledge oriented books, most of them would be related to your area of study. Hostels (Both Girls and Boys) are decent. College canteen provides good food at affordable rate. (I miss the canteen the most, and probably you would be making most of your memories there too. ). Sports and indoor game facility is available for all the students at sports Complex. If you're really enthusiastic about sports, the college will make sure you do the best in it will all possible support.

Faculty: I won't mislead you by telling they provide the best curriculum with best faculty in the world. Yes, the curriculum is fine. I think the new curriculum is more practical based and will enhance your exposure to the industry. In my course of 3 years, I visited 5 industry in total. Trust me, Silvassa and cities nearby has lot more industry to explore, you could just get permission from college and the Industry you want to visit, maybe even with your group of friends and get that industry exposure. The faculty is decent and some are very helpful and knowledgeable. The semester exams of Savitribai Phule Pune University was pretty easy for me, as I was an more than average student and passing was not a big deal here. Based on my batch the pass percentage was around 75% per semester.

Other: I chose this college honestly because it was near to my locality. I chose BBA because I wanted to do something different than a Commerce degree. And the BBA course has 70% less student population per class as compares to B.Com. But, there's not much difference is these two courses curriculum although. There are a lot of fun events conducted such as Freshers Day, The Vision, Sports Days, Cultural Days, intercollegiate fests and many more. The best part is that not only you could participate, but also you can have a role in conducting such events. SSR was one of the most enjoyable time I had in my life. I hope the curriculum gets better in future. - A special note to anyone about to join this college: The three years you're going to pursue here, is not only about the course, but also the learning that sometimes simplicity is the key. This college gives you ample amount of time to build your career, don't waste it. Make memories, keep gaining knowledge from the smallest things.
