    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback provided by students and alumni, here's what can be concluded:

    * Placements: Placements at St. Francis College are limited, with around 20-25% of students getting placements. While some students have been able to secure jobs, the quality of placements may vary, with packages ranging from INR2-INR5 Lacs per annum.
    * Faculty: Teachers at St. Francis College are generally considered knowledgeable and supportive, with most holding Ph.D.s and D.Sc.s in their respective fields. This suggests that academic guidance and mentorship may be strong.
    * Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, with modern classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities. However, some issues have been reported regarding the functioning of computers in the lab and lack of Wi-Fi connectivity.
    * Curriculum: The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for industry demands, with a focus on practical learning.
    * Examinations: Semester exams are challenging, with students required to score a minimum of 40% to pass. Additionally, there are 2 internals and 1 preparatory exam, making it essential for students to stay on top of their coursework.

Overall, while St. Francis College shows potential in terms of its faculty and infrastructure, placements remain a concern. Prospective students should weigh the benefits against the limitations and consider factors beyond just academics when evaluating whether St. Francis College is suitable for their needs.

Recommendation: Based on the feedback provided, we recommend considering multiple options before making an informed decision about pursuing a B.Com degree at St. Francis College. It would be beneficial to discuss concerns about placements with current students and faculty to gain a clearer understanding of the college's strengths and weaknesses.

Review of St. Francis college .
Placements: The placement was average. Not a lot of students got placed. The lowest package was 2 lakhs and the highest was 3.8 LPA. The top recruiters are Slice, TCS, etc. and even startups. The roles offered were HR, accountants, and KYC verification roles. And the percentage of people who got job was roughly 20%.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was amazing. It's a new building so it's nicely built. And has all necessary facilities like good canteen, classrooms, benches, chairs, auditorium, projectors, and even is equipped with all indoor and outdoor games. And even has a big ground.
Faculty: The faculty is well trained and all are youngsters so they are friendly. They have all the required skills. They teach out of the topic as well and explain well. They use the projector to show videos and examples all the time. They even provide assignments related to the topic so that we can research and learn properly.
Other: They take us to 2-3 educational one-day trips, and in the final year they take us to one 3--4 day trip within Karnataka. They try to conduct as many events and competitions as possible. They give more importance to sports than studies.

    Review of St. Francis College.
Placements: Hardly 10% of the students gets placed. The highest package for B.Com. students could be 300000-400000 max. The lowest or average package would be 1.5 lakhs-2.1 lakhs. TCS, Flitch,, and other companies are the top recruiters. An internship is compulsory for all students, but college will not help anyone get it. We have to search on our own. Mostly marketing companies are providing opportunities here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very neat and good. There are computer labs on all floors. There is both an E-library and a normal library. Every classroom has projectors. The canteen food is not great. Medical facilities are available. All types of indoor and outdoor sports are available. All types of interstate competition take place. Students are encouraged a lot in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and trained well. Teaching quality is also good. Yes the course curriculum is relevant. Teachers would teach outside the syllabus to make us know how corporate works or how the topic works in real life. It does make us industry-ready. It's not too hard to clear the exams. Pass percentage would be 70% .
Other: I choose B.Com. case I like commerce field as I have large scope and options I can do in the future. I feel B.Com doesn't teach about one field in particular, which could be both good and bad thing about it. When we pass out, we would have to compulsory do Masters or else any other courses to get a job. Events are not great. Campus crowd is okay. The campus surrounding is good. Scholarships are provided. Extracurriculars are the best in this college, especially in NCC and sports. They encourage students a lot.

My graduation and the college I went.
Placements: There is no good placement and out of 200, only 60 people got selected and most of the companies that are shown don't come at all. This college is just for studying and getting a degree certificate, not for having a better career or good job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The B.Com A and F are specialized courses, but the college doesn't show any interest in education. They treat all the courses the same way, so there is no difference between B.Com. regular and B.Com. AF, and the canteen doesn't provide good-quality food. The price is high but the quality is too low. It is better to look for PG than hostel .
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified but don't have any high experience in education. All the teachers are of young age or newly graduated and all they do is explain the PPT presentations and all the practicals are copied from the book and written on the board.
Other: If you want to enjoy your degree life, please don't join this college, as this college has very strict rules and regulations for schools.

Satisfied with the faculty members and good infrastructure.
Placements: I'm in my final semester. The placements are to be conducted this semester, as per the information we got. The recruitment has not started yet. Only in the first year, we got an opportunity to work. In the second year, due to covid, we could not go for internships.
Infrastructure: The college is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities, with good infrastructure. It has Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, sports, labs, well-equipped E-Library and many more. The canteen food is average and sometimes overpriced too. Apart from canteen, all the facilities are very well-equipped.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very friendly, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. The course and the syllabus are a bit vast, and we have to study 13 chapters sometimes. The passing percentage is more than 90%, as far as I am aware of.
Other: We have a lot of opportunities to participate in various competitions.
