The infrastructure, facilities, faculty, extra curricular and exposure is good. Lacking placements.
Placements: College is still a growing college with only 2 years of it's starting the placements and internships provided are very poor. In my course particularly there are no placements yet. The aviation has gotten good focus from the management and hence a few placements are given.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities of St Francis college is by far better than any budding colleges found in Bangalore. Proper classrooms with good library, electronic library, good seating for students, labs and everything else is brilliant. Sports, games, extra curricular are given proper justice and the facilities are at par. Canteen and the facilities aren't that good.
Faculty: Teaching faculty at St Francis college are very qualified and knowledgeable. They have proper equipment to guide a student well. The course curriculum goes according to the Bangalore University as it's affiliated to it. The students are given a lot of exposure by the in-house conduct of various competitions. The semester exams are quite difficult with 30 marks internals and 70 externals. For a student to pass they must qualify in both internals and externals by getting the minimum percentage and then the cumulative of all is shown in the marks card.
Other: I chose B.Com. Hons as it had the extra aspects I was looking for as only B.Com. Wasn't satisfactory enough. As far as improvements go I wish for better placement facilities to be provided. The events and activities conducted in the campus are honestly good as they give proper exposure to the students.
