One of the best colleges in Mumbai suburban for serious studies.

Placements: The placements are decent. Some good companies visit the campus. The highest package offered is 12-14 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA. The training and placement cell is good and supportive during placements. Various companies like Larsen and Toubro, Reliance Jio, Infosys, and BYJU's visit the college regularly.

Dissatisfied because of faculty and bad canteen.

Placements: Around 50-60% were placed. The highest salary offered was of 6Lpa and the lowest being 1.5Lpa. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, LnT. IT software developer was the top role offered. Average package was of 3.5lpa. 30-40% got internship for various private IT sectors. Our college have never informed us about free internships, they have internship where students pay college for getting them internships.

I am dissatisfied with the schedule of the college.

Placements: Almost 50-60% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.25 LPA. Infosys and L&T are the top recruiting for our course. Companies. A top role like software developer is offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course ranges between 1.25-3.5 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the environment in college and they focus merely on marks.

Placements: Placements are really good. Almost all the students got placed (90% - 95% of students got placed). However, the package offered was not good. The highest package offered was 16 LPA, and only one student was selected. The lowest package was as less as 1.8 Lacs per annum. The average packages are also pretty less, around 3 LPA.

Good Placements in 2018, Boring 8 to 5 lectures and Compulsory Attendance.

Placements: 1. Placements for our Batch was much better than previous Batch Placement in terms of the no. Of companies visiting to the no. Of students being placed. For our Batch the Placement started in the month of September (This is a usual trend in SFIT ) and the first company visiting the campus was Capgimini. Then a dozens of company visited in 1 months. The mass recruiting company is LTI it recruited 108 students from our college. 2. Some companies that visited our college is Capgimini, LTI, TCS...

Good placements in 2017 and no major changes in canteen since past 2 years.

Placements: The placements here are improved after the TPO has changed. Sir Wilson helps a lot to the students for preparing for placements. Recently more of the startup companies visited such as Drona and many more. The companies provided a decent package, and the TPO provided proper guidelines. Overall the placements were decent.

A good college if you can adjust. Provides basic needs. You can learn discipline over here.

Placements: Placements have not started yet but I heard from the seniors that they go well. The cream crowd is selected first, and the other students thereafter. The students over here go through various rounds like mock or group discussion. Later, only are they selected on the basis of their performance.

The best thing about this college is its campus and placements. Hardly any other colleges in Mumbai have larger campus than SFIT. Every year at least 70% of the students gets placed with leading companies like TCS and IGATE, which give average package of 3.25 lakhs. Faculty is not too strong.

It is just another college. The college is not the best but good placements. The campus acquires good crowd but not so good professors. Also, the college is very strict. 1st year is very tough. Attendance is compulsory. Placements are only from service based company like TCS, Infosys, etc. Had some amazing festivals like IRIS n Mosaic.

My college life was fun and the campus placements were good and helpful for many students. Each year we used to have fests where everyone could participate and show their talent in front of a panel of judges and it was exciting. Studies were given utmost importance and the teachers were great at their job and they used to hold extra classes as well for those who find it tough to learn a subject and students could approach the teachers at any time during college hours and even afterwards.
