St. Joseph's College, Jakhama Scholarships and Funding
Students can apply financial assistance from state
government, central government and other national agencies which includes-
1. Nagaland Post Metric Central Scholarship
2. Manipur Scholarship
3. Nagaland Merit Scholarship, Government. of Nagaland
4. Manipur Merit Scholarship, Government. of Manipur
Scholarships and freeships are given to the under-privileged students, SC/ST Students, Students with physical disabilities & Overseas students
College provide Tuition Fee Concession to the students from economically poor backgrounds. In the year 2019-2020, 50 students from undergraduate level and 3 students from postgraduate level (Total of 53 students benefited in the academic year) was provided Tuition fee concession partially or fully depending on the financial situation and the request from the students.
In Addition to it students also get scholarship under the scheme of (1) Post Matric National Scholarship and (2) Post Metric State Scholarship from the Government of Nagaland. Since 99% of the the students of the college belongs to Scheduled Tribe almost all of them get the scholarship under the central scheme or state scheme.
