Review of St. Joseph's College of Commerce.

Placements: A lot of companies visited the campus to offer placements for the students of various departments such as marketing, operations, etc. Some companies visit the college to offer internships and also final placements. There is a pre-placement workshop conducted before sitting for placements, for the students who are interested in getting placed.

It is a brilliant college in all aspects.

Placements: The college has a dedicated placement cell. Companies approach the college and recruit qualified and talented students from the campus itself through a selection process. It is very beneficial to students and saves a lot of time. The students are motivated and strive hard to secure internships and placements at these top companies.

SJCC - creating men and women of the society.

Placements: The placements are at par, but not up to the mark. Only the big fours come here, and this is concerning PG only. However, for the graduates, the placements here are really good. The management is trying out their best to pool in some of the best companies and in during the forthcoming years.

Overall, good college with good teachers and a peaceful surrounding, helps to build child's career.

Placements: The placements in this college are high compared to other colleges. There are more than 15-20 companies which come for placements and students who get placed is around 60-65% people because others would be either doing higher studies or don't want placements.

Satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and crowd. Good placements and facilities.

Placements: The placement procedure here is very systematic. It is very easy for all the students to apply and go through the procedure. The teachers are very helpful and guide you on the right path. You are trained before you go through the procedure which increases your confidence and potential. Each and every student is given an opportunity to apply for their choice of company. The placement procedure is computerised and therefore unbiased. Here companies like Goldman Sachs, EY, KPMG visit the campus. Mo...

Best college for fun & commerce.

Placements: Studying this course will give you a job directly in TCS. In this course, you will study about the actual company work that differs from the normal B.Com. The portions are also easy to learn and score in the first and second year. If you want placements other than the TCS, it is also possible as you directly have the knowledge of the whole company, how it manages, accounts, etc. It is easy to get placed when you have studied TCS course. Also, SJCC is one of the best colleges in commerce.

SJCC - Faith and Toil is its motto.

Placements: There are only four to five companies which come for placements for PG, however, UG has got a very good placement, and 7 out of 10 students get placed every year. All the top companies starting from Google to TCS come here, but for Masters, there are no much placements because SJCC has only M.Com and the main path for these students is either teacher or bank officers.

It is a great place for opportunities.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. The average salary offered was 2.5 LPA. It was usually entry-level in the organizations. Roles were often analysts in operations. Not sure of the number of students who received internships, nor the stipend offered. In companies like Goldman Sachs and EY got internships and job opportunities for students.

Truly enjoyed my 3 years at SJCC. Infrastructure can be better in terms of classroom furniture.

Placements: Many companies visit SJCC for placements. The placement cell generally asks for an aggregate of 60% to attend placement rounds but it may be higher depending on the company. On an average, I personally can say about 50-70% of students are placed in various companies including Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Deloitte, Google and many more. The general jobs offered are for data analysis, customer support, risk management, and marketing/sales. The highest salary offered was from Google which was ...

A review of SJCC: 2012-2015.

Placements: As mine was the first batch of B.Com- travel and tourism, the companies specific to the specialization were less. We were eligible for placements along with the regular B.Com students in all the companies that arrived. Some of the companies that visited were EY, KPMG, Tesco, Target, DE Shaw, Deloitte, etc. They offered roles as analysts in finance, audit, tax, retail sector, etc. The only company that came for internships were Goldman Sachs which later hired these interns as employees. Placements: It was the best placement team as we would know what are the companies coming and what are the expectations of students to get selected. Around 95% of the students got placed. The highest pay was 12 lakhs and the lowest was 2.5 lakhs. The companies that visited were EY, Deloitte, Google, Morgan Stanley, Bosch, Grand Thornton, KPMG and many more. The roles were accounts associate, finance, people ambassador, marketing manager, etc. About 97-98 students got their internship from the college. The h...

A college with good mix of students, highly recommended for students keen on sports and singing.

Placements: Placements in Joseph's are decent. However, I wouldn't call it the best compared to other colleges of the same standard mainly because of the lack of diverse job profiles. Most companies that hire are into accounts or finance. The students who want to pursue a career in marketing or HR are left with minimal or no choice.
