It is an underrated college. However, now, it has very much good infrastructure.
Placements: About 10% of the students from our course got placed, but they got placed in non-core companies, i.e., in the BPO sector. They recruit us as freshers, so the lowest salary offered will be Rs. 10,000 per month. Core companies don't recruit us. In our institution, they tried much to offer better companies for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was neat and clean. There was no Wi-Fi facility during our tenure. The canteen infrastructure should be changed because it doesn't have a good environment to eat food. Our college concentrates more on academics and doesn't organise events often like other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers here are very friendly and very helpful for us. They are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality was average. The course curriculum is based on Anna University. It is relevant, but it is not updated as we need more practical knowledge than the theory. Then only we will be better in our career.
Other: In 2012, everyone was used to suggest electronics and communication course is the best in engineering, so I choose this course. I wish that our course curriculum should be updated, and our college should provide more practicals, so it will be very helpful for upcoming engineers to become engineers.
