- Candidates with a higher average percentage from first semester to N-1 semesters in the qualifying degree exam are considered. Here N refers to the total number of semesters in the qualifying degree exam.
- In case the tie still persists, a candidate who is older as per the date of birth mentioned in SSLC certificate will get the preference in rank allotment.
