The best college to do Bachelors.

Placements: The placements were good for computer science students, but EMS couldn't get a placement related to its field. I feel that not enough importance was given to EMS for the placement. But our senior batch got placed in the good companies like E&Y. I feel that it is better to complete your masters and then work.

It is the best college to join in arts stream, worth studying there and faculty members are awesome.

Placements: We don't really go on placement basis, but we have 100% placement. All MNCs across Bangalore visit our college. Average salary would be 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. It is the overall skill development programme which is being conducted for the students to get evaluated by the MNCs visiting our college.

Satisfied with the faculty. It has good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Our college has got vivid placement options for those who are planning to do the job just after their graduation. All the major IT companies including Wipro, TCS come every year, and many of our seniors have been placed, and some of them were lucky enough to get a huge package. Your marks matter anyways but our college help everyone by giving classes and motivating students.

The college has the best exposure and life skills.

Placements: The course is more of research-oriented. Therefore, most of the students prefer higher studies and a few internships as they take a break from studies. The college in itself carries the dignity and reputation. Their college is recognised by most people in India (at least South India). There is a placement cell, it is useful for professional courses.

Proud to be a Josephite and will always be one.

Placements: There is a separate placement cell with the highly qualified counsellor for the betterment of the students. The special training programmes were conducted for the students. Around, 200 to 300 students got placed in the different companies based on their respected fields.

Hoping to gain excess knowledge then this is the place.

Placements: Placements are not guaranteed as big shot companies just take the cream. If there is a class of 60 people around 20 will be placed. Highest for a BCA graduate was 21Lakh per annum and the lowest was 18000 per month. Facebook, infosys, Wipro, etc. No internship from our college.

Good infrastructure and facilities that leads to useful learning which is helping me even today.

Placements: The companies that comes for campus recruitment, mainly come to hire computer students and the profile they offer is of an analyst. Only Asian Paints came for a sales profile and offered rupees 6 lakhs per annum which is the highest for that year. The average placements for St. Joseph's is generally around 3.2 lakhs per annum. Lowest amount was offered by Tech Mahindra and that was 1.8 per lakhs annum. There are good companies like EY, Asian Paints, Thomson Reuters, Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Tech ...

It is somewhat lacking in the visual communication department, but a wonderful place to go to college. It is very well located. The only thing is that they don't have car parking for students, and there aren't very many places to eat around the campus. Lab facilities are great, though, and teachers are extremely sympathetic towards students.

St. Joseph's arts and science college is one of the top colleges in Bangalore. The college is best in the means of campus life and the students. It also polishes the students to handle pressure and criticism. Every student faces challenging activities right from the exams to extra-curricular activities. Campus recruitment was not provided for BVC (Bachelor of Visual Communication) whereas other courses had campus recruitment. The college premises always has some or the other activities taking pl...

The students grow up to be approachable, supportive and accepting of others. Josephites tend to be great leaders and positive toward life. There are a number of associations that you can be a part of, which are open to all. The Visual Communication course is designed to give you a brief overview of filmmaking, graphic design, journalism, photography, screenplay writing, etc. You will be surprised at how many of them overlap with those of institutions abroad and in India. A huge drawback is that ...

St. Joseph's College, Bangalore is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka with a history of more than 130+ year. I am doing my final year BSc in this college and as far as I know I have changed a lot from the time I joined this college. This college is not only good in education but also helps in developing your skills and bring out your hidden talents. The teaching staff is the best and the college has good infrastructure as well as the placements.

Shift 1 of St. Joseph's University .

Placements: The placement are good but there is no list of the top tier companies like Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan, etc. Hence preferred to self job hunt than giving all the hope on the placements. There is also partiality to shift 3 and shift 1 which might effect the students.

A good college with beautiful experiences.

Placements: Only a few students were placed by the college and most of them weren't placed at all. There is a placement cell that helps students get placed but I never really tried approaching them. So part of me not being placed might be my fault but the college does provide placements.

SJU In and Out as a Student.

Placements: As I was studying in a Science course, I didn't SEE placement for us. I didn't SEE even one person getting placed related to Science but have seen commerce and arts students getting placed easily. If we would have chosen away from our discipline, we would have got jobs.

Absolutely loved this college.

Placements: As a student of St. Joseph's pursuing Journalism and Sociology, I'd say the placement scenario is quite promising, though it varies by individual performance and networking. About 70-80% of students in Journalism secure internships, while Sociology internships tend to be fewer. The highest package range around 6-7 LPA, with the lowest being 2-3 LPA, and an average of 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include media houses like Times of India, The Hindu, and non-profit like CRY and Teach for Ind...

There were almost all the top companies like Accenture, Dell, Infosys, Wipro etc.. I don't know perfectly about the internship. Backend developer software developer etc.
