Placements: The average salary package for mechanical engineering was 13 LPA. Around 88% of the students who SAT for the placement exams from my branch got placed. The highest package was 35 LPA, whereas the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Ford Motors, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Amazon, and Flipkart. The top internship recruiters were AT&S India, AbInbev, and Aequs Group. Top roles offered are Project Manager.

Placements: Placements are good in this college because it is the top college in NITS. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 9 LPA - 10 LPA. The placement percentage is 90%.

Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed in NitK from Mechanical Engineering. The highest package is 10LPA without the Minor. On taking minor courses the average package will increase. The average package is around 7LPA and the lowest is 5LPA. One of the top recruiting company is Tata Mahindra. Many students get internship opportunities and avail Pre Placement Offers before reaching the final year. The minimum requirement for sitting in campus placement interviews is 7 CGPA.

Placements: In AI branch, about 90% of the students who have applied for placements get their campus placements, and the remaining 10% choose to do Masters, Research, and startups from college tech clubs like IEEE and Cell. Placements: Placements are good this year in the IT branch. Every student got placements. Almost 97% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 57 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 19 LPA - 21 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. The internship season will start in the 5th semester. Everyone will get internships.

Placements: In our course, on average, nearly 90% of the students get placed every year. In this academic year, the highest package was 54 LPA and the lowest was around 8 LPA. Many MNCs come to the campus to recruit students; some of them are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Uber, Ola, etc. All of the students might not get on-campus internships, but around 80% of the students do.

Placements: The placements in the college are good compared to many IITs and NITs. You can expect a good placement in the relevant domain, but one has to work hard for that. The highest in my branch is 39 LPA, and the least is 6 LPA. 100% students got placed last year.

Placements: Placement in NITK Surathkal is great. The placement is slightly declined due to recession. But earlier the placement was way too good, with an overall percentage of 92%. In the year 2021, around 421 companies visited NITK for recruitment. Though the number was less last year.

However, fewer students were selected for internships than for placements, with each company taking fewer than 10 interns.

Placements: The best thing about my college is the placements. Last year, they offered 2,250 placements for students, and companies like HCL, Capgemini, TCS, Zoho, and Hyundai made good offers. Our students even got jobs at Google with packages of 60L! From the 6th semester, we will start having placements. About 90% of the students are getting placed with an average package of 5L. My plans after the degree are to pursue my master's abroad.

A total of 188 companies visited the campus, including Robert Bosch, Credit Suisse, SAP Labs, Citicorp, CITICORP Services, Capital One, Qualcomm, TCS, Oracle, RBEI, Wipro, L&T Construction, Saipem India, Thorogood, Arista Networks, Reliance Industries, and Fidelity Investments.

Due to the recession, the percentage is lower now, but it is expected to return to the previous level next year. The average package received last year was around 8-9 LPA. The internship process requires you to write a technical OA for the companies you are applying to. If we are selected for the next round, it will be either a GD or an interview.

More than 150 companies come for the placement, including Jio, Google, Mercedes-Benz, Amazon, etc. In 2022, Jio offered placements to 120 students from the college. Nearly 90–95% of students get placed. I'll try to get a government job after the degree.

Placements: The placements of chemical students are very average. The highest package was around 30 LPA. The average package lies somewhere between 12-14 LPA. The percentage of placements is around 60%. Very few students get internships in the chemical engineering department.
