A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on the provided information, here's how the course curriculum at St. Mary's College is structured for BBA:

Course Curriculum

* The course curriculum is aptly set with all the important subjects required for BBA graduation (as per one student).
* The course curriculum is moderately relevant, but the lack of internship opportunities makes students less industry-ready (mentioned by multiple students).
* The course covers various domains such as finance, marketing, and HR, making it a versatile degree (one student).

Teaching Quality

* Teachers are well qualified, having finished their Ph.D. degrees, and are knowledgeable in their respective fields (multiple students agree).
* Teaching quality is good, and teachers help in clarifying all doubts (students mention).
* Faculty members who teach BBA students are extremely good, helping them in their studies and clarifying doubts in a friendly manner (another student agrees).

Q:   Is BBA at St. Mary's College worth the investment?

A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on student reviews and feedback, here are some key points to consider:

* Teaching Quality: The college has experienced and knowledgeable faculty members, with most holding PhD degrees. Teachers are helpful and friendly, making efforts to clarify doubts and guide students.
* Course Curriculum: While the course curriculum is relevant, it lacks industry exposure, making students less prepared for the workforce. Internship opportunities are scarce, and placements are often unconnected to the course.
* Infrastructure: The college has decent classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities, although sports grounds could be improved.
* Placement Record: Student placement rates vary, ranging from 40% to 60%. Salary packages are modest, with averages around INR3-INR4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters include tech giants like TCS, Infosys, and HCL, offering roles such as business analysts and administrators.
* Hostel Facilities: None are available within the college premises, requiring students to seek accommodation elsewhere.
* Campus Life: Campus life is generally enjoyable, with regular events, fests, and scholarship opportunities. However, extracurricular activities may not receive adequate emphasis.

In conclusion, while St. Mary's College offers a good education and supportive faculty, potential students should carefully weigh the pros and cons. Those seeking industry-oriented programs or higher placement records might consider alternative options. For those prioritizing academics and personal growth, St. Mary's College could still be a suitable choice, especially considering the relatively affordable fee structure.

Poor placements, good teaching, decent infrastructure.
Placements: Only less than 55% of the students got placed in my college. The placements cell is not that supportive. The highest package offered in this course is 7LPA, the lowest is 2LPA and the average package is 4LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college include TCS, HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top roles offered include that of Business Associate, Business Analyst and Business Administration. Our college does not provide any internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite decent. Our college is well-equipped with a large library with numerous books, canteens, sports grounds, gym, cafeteria along with the entire college having a good Wi-Fi connection. The quality of food in the canteen is good and is also tasty. Sports ground needs to be expanded to accommodate more people. Our college does not provide any hostel facilities and the students are required to stay in the PGs outside.
Faculty: The best part of our college is the quality of teaching provided by the teachers. All the teachers are well qualified with their Ph.D. degrees and have at least 10 years of experience. They are very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant but the students are not made industry-ready as the college does not provide any internship opportunities. Semester exams are easy to crack and the passing percentage is above 90.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to become a Business Analyst. The best thing about this course is the quality of the teachers and their guidance regarding doubts. The things that I wish to improve include the placements and internship opportunities provided. Apart from that, our college encourages social connections through fest and events. Scholarships are provided based on the merit of the students.

Good campus life and valuable teachers; poor placements.
Placements: Less than 70% of the students got placed in my college. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is only 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, HCL, and Teach Mahindra. The top roles offered were business administration, junior associate, and so on. Our college does not provide any internship facilities, and placements are very poor.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is not bad. It has decent classrooms, canteens, well-equipped libraries for students, Wi-Fi connections, and so on. Our college also has sports grounds, but they are not big enough to play. Our college does not provide hostel facilities, and students have to look for PGs outside, which are located very close to our college.
Faculty: The teachers are the only plus for our college. They are very knowledgeable and friendly, and they clarify all sorts of doubts. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and have 10+ years of experience. The course curriculum is relevant, but the absence of internships makes students less industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass, and the passing percentage is above 90.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to start my venture. The only best thing about this college is the quality of the teachers. I wish placements were improved and internship opportunities were provided. However, campus life is good; small events are regularly conducted, and scholarships are given based on the merits of the students. Sports should be given more importance.

Good campus life, dissatisfied placements and average infrastructure.
Placements: The job placements at our institution are quite mediocre, with only half of the students securing placements. The salary packages range from 3LPA to 6LPA, with an average of 4LPA. Notable recruiting companies are Google, TCS, and Teach Mahindra. Unfortunately, our college does not offer any internship opportunities. The primary roles offered are business analyst and business administration.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is considered to be above average. However, the classrooms lack Wi-Fi connectivity. On a positive note, our college boasts a vast library with an extensive collection of books. The classrooms are well-maintained, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Unfortunately, the sports grounds are limited in size and cannot accommodate a large number of people, indicating a need for improvement. On a brighter side, our college offers good canteen facilities that serve delicious and high-quality food.
Faculty: All the teachers are quite helpful in clarifying doubts and are knowledgeable with doctorate degrees and experience. The course curriculum is moderately relevant, and students are not made industry-ready because of a lack of internship opportunities. The semester exams are quite easy to pass, and the passing percentage is above 70.
Other: I selected this program with the intention of pursuing further studies in MBA. One of the advantages of this course is the manageable workload in the curriculum structure. I am optimistic about the enhancement of placement opportunities and the growing availability of internships. The tuition fees at our college are affordable, the campus environment is pleasant, and scholarships are awarded based on students' academic performance. The annual fest is organized every year.

Our college does not have any hostel facilities. Students should stay in nearby private hostels. The sports grounds are quite small, which cannot accommodate a lot of people.

Review of St. Mary's College.
Placements: Only 60% of the students got placed in my course. The placement facilities are very average in my college. It needs to be improved. Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good. Our college has an average sports ground, a well-equipped library, all classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled, we have a well-spaced auditorium, and proper medical facilities. Our college does not provide hostel facilities, and students should look for private hostels. Our college canteen is decent and offers quality food.
Faculty: The faculty members who teach us are extremely good. They help us a lot in our studies and clarify doubts in a friendly manner. They are very knowledgeable, and most of them have finished their doctorate and have very good experience. The course curriculum does not make the students industry-ready as there is no practical exposure. The semester exams are easy to pass when studied before exams, and the passing percentage is more than 90.
Other: I chose this course as I want to start my own business. The best thing about this course is the quality of the teachers. So many things need to be improved like placements, internships, and hostel availability. The campus is good, but the sports ground needs an extension. Extracurricular activities are limited. Scholarships are given based on the merit of students.
