Review of St. Thomas College, Pala.
Placements: Every year, banks like Federal Bank and South Indian Bank recruit students through a 4-level recruitment process. The students who secure 60% or above will be qualified for the process. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Last year, internship programs were conducted by ESAF Bank, Byjus App, Pfizer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is on 30 acres of land, which consists of fully equipped computer and science labs, smart classes, a library with more than 3 lakh books, an outdoor gym, and an Olympic-level swimming pool. It also has indoor pools, a football ground, athletic tracks, walking and jogging lanes, a wooden floored indoor stadium, a cafeteria, and an auditorium. When we consider sports and athletics, our volleyball team is the best in the university.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and educated. They are very open to every student. Every faculty member is committed to the profession and they give us proper guidance on how to be a good human being, how to support and contribute to society, opportunities that will be a trend in the future, etc. Being a student in their classes will be a huge opportunity for every student.
Other: The history and way of life of the college inspire every student to get in. The commerce department is always in the front while conducting fests and events in the college. Com-Arena, a nationwide college fest, is one of the fests conducted by the department. There are a lot of inter-department events every semester. There is no lack of events at the college. There are a lot of scholarships provided by the college as well as the university. There is an NCC, NSS, and Blood Donation Forum actively functioning in the college.
