Bachelor of Business Administration - Batch of 2026

No campus but good campus life if you get people of your vibe.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in Business Administration is almost 50 to 60%, but this is not due to fewer top recruiters recruiting, but it is due to the fact that most students prefer going for a Master’s. The highest offer is 15 Lacs, the lowest packages are 3 Lacs, and the average is 5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Federal Bank, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. Almost every student is required to do an internship in a township. The top roles offered are mainly given by natural selection and are associated with administration and things like that.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs with Wi-Fi facilities for educational purposes only. There is a high-tech library, good classrooms, and affordable hostel facilities. There are no sports facilities on campus, but there is an allotted facility nearby. The canteen food is quite good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are quite knowledgeable, qualified, and very generously helping. The course curriculum is a bit outdated but still helpful. If you study regularly, it is easy to pass the semester exams. The curriculum is short in making the students industry-ready, but with proper training and internship facilities, they can be.
Other: Because I like business, I get core relevant knowledge in business. I wish it had more hands-on experience and practical sessions. There are a good number of events and fests, but not very large campus surroundings.

Absolutely good for its placements.
Placements: St. Thomas is best for its placement programs, and the number of students getting placed every year is better than in many other top colleges. Around 30 students get placed every year from my course. Accenture, Federal Bank, and South Indian Bank are the top recruiting companies. The highest salary package is about 16 lacs per annum, and the average is about 15k per month.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided for our course are of good quality and in a good environment. The hostel facilities are good and meet expectations. Our college is best for its sports segment and is excellent at bringing top sportspersons to the country. There is even a stadium for sports activities.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and friendly toward the students. They play an important role in bringing good academic results. Even though some are a bit below expectations, as a whole, the faculty is excellent. If you focus your studies according to a good plan, you can easily crack the semester exams. Opting for B.Com at St. Thomas is a good option for those who aim for post-graduation and getting placed at a reputed company.
Other: The main drawback of St. Thomas is its campus environment. The campus is small and congested compared to other top colleges. Since it is near the main road and the hospital, the restrictions imposed by the management are also at that level. Students often get mad about the rules and restrictions imposed on enjoying their campus surroundings, even though various departments provide their maximum effort in organizing various events and fests throughout the college campus.

The college has good fame but I don't think it's ok.
Placements: My batch is 2022-2025 in B.Com. Finance. Placement is at 90%, with the highest package offered being 500,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies for this course include Deloitte, Federal Bank, and Accenture. The internship rate is 85%, and the primary role offered in this course is operations assistant.
Infrastructure: The teachers are somewhat above average, but the course curriculum is not very relevant for preparing students for practical fieldwork. The difficulty level of the college is high, with a pass percentage of 95%. Don’t expect much if you are a knowledge seeker, and please keep this valuable information in mind.

Other: Teachers are kind of above average; this course curriculum is not relevant to put the students on the field. Difficulty level of the college is high, pass percentage 95% . Never expect more if you are a knowledge seeker. Never avoid this valuable information.

The teachers are very friendly and they provide extra study materials.
Placements: Internships are also provided at the start of the third year, which is mostly in the IT sector; the highest stipend is 1,50,000, and the lowest is unpaid. Core internships are also very few, but academic internships are great as the college has tie-ups with many foreign colleges.
Infrastructure: The campus life compared to some other colleges was good enough. The annual techno-cultural fest called YVIDH was a very encouraging program. The availability of books in the library is good; almost all the needed books are available in the library, and the arrangements of books are looking nice. The club activities are also held very energetically.
Faculty: All the professors over here are highly educated; all of them have a Ph.D., mostly from foreign countries, and courses are taken by professors, and it's purely his choice how he wants to grade students, with no objection to him. Whether the grading system is relatively or absolutely exam copies are mostly checked by the Ph.D. and I teach students; exams are tough and which require conceptual clarity.

M.Sc. Botany 2024 passout at st. Thomas college.
Placements: It's a full-time two-year course, and we were allowed to work as an intern from the second year. As we were allowed to work in various laboratories and to be involved in research, we won't get any stipend in such internships. Based on such experience, we may be able to get various offers at the end of the course.
Infrastructure: Mostly laboratories pave a major path in our full-time two-year program. We have no time to play sports apart from practical experimentations. Also, we don't have sports areas to play. But while coming to food, they preferred to cook nutritious foods in a healthy way. To avoid food scarcity, they cook them in extra quantities.
Faculty: I had done my Bachelors in Botany at Tamil Nadu. Now I had chosen Masters in Botany at St. Thomas College. Based on my mother's recommendation, I had chosen this field, and my mother took two years to choose this college. Our teachers experimentally explain all the concepts, which helps us to remember the concepts at any time.

Academically inclined and social life is minimal.
Placements: The percentage of students who are placed in courses is not properly known. 10% of 20% of students are placed from college placements. The highest package offered is 7-9 LPA, the average package is 3-4 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Recruiters are mainly banks, TCS, Accenture, L&T, etc. Almost all students are required to do internships, and they could choose whichever firms they want. The top level of roles offered are mainly roles that BBA graduates can do.
Infrastructure: There are labs, classrooms, and a library, but no Wi-Fi for students. I don't use hostel facilities, but it is said to be good, and there are zero sports or recreational facilities on the campus—no space for games and things like that. There is an arts day where it is a pleasant time in college time.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, sometimes over- and underqualified, and, on average, knowledgeable. The course curriculum needs to be updated. It makes students somewhat okay for the industry. Difficulty levels are average, and it is manageable. Almost 95 percent of students pass the exams.
Other: There is no campus; only some buildings are there. There is no campus environment and a very minimal campus life. I wanted a degree, and I was fond of business. Gain business knowledge on some levels; wish my course had more hands-on experience and knowledge; it's mostly theory study, no real-life activities. There are plenty of events and fairs, but no campus surroundings.
