Our college is helpful in building the career.
Placements: More than 200 students are placed in different companies every year. Different multinational companies like Cognizant, Wipro, and other companies are recruiting students. The roles offered are technicians, software, and hardware experts. Jobs with up to 10 LPA are offered in placement.
Infrastructure: Good quality classrooms are provided along with good labs, and learning experiences. The art college library is keeping up with international standards. College provides extensive support in excelling the sports and other activities. Hostel and canteen facilities are also good.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified and supportive in teaching different subjects. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is also good, but there's room for improvement. Students gain knowledge for keeping track of the technologies of the industry. The pass percentage is 35% and semester exams not too difficult.
Other: This course enables you to learn and apply knowledge in electronics devices and their working methods. You get to learn about different theories and parameters of microprocessors, microcontrollers, analog and digital devices, and so on. I believe there is a lot more to be learned but this course covers almost all the necessary topics. The campus has a lot of options for extracurricular activities. Even though the entire land area of the college is limited due to being located at the heart of a bustling city. It still provides opportunities to learn, grow and connect with other students and their ideas. There are also different campus events conducted every year.

It is a good college that has great placements, average faculty members, and common programs.
Placements: Placements in St. Thomas are the best in the Thrissur district and even in Kerala state in the arts and science college section. Every year, around 30% of students in each department get placed. Salary packages offered for both undergraduates and postgraduates vary from 1.4 LPA to 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, IBM, TCS, Infosys, etc., do placements. Multiple roles related to software and hardware work are offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are fitted with projectors, and the department lab is considerably modern and well kept. Students do not get a Wi-Fi facility. We have a common library for our use. The hostel is good. The quality of food in the canteen is good and fresh. There are few medical facilities. Sports and games are also not readily available. The infrastructure is technically small since the college is right in the middle of the city. Our college ground is about 1 km away from the main campus.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good. All of them are qualified, but some of them need better teaching quality. They finish their syllabus and do some revision before the semester exams. The course curriculum is modern, and the university provides good books for learning. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. When it is coupled with the placement cell classes, students are way more prepared for jobs. Semester exams are considerably challenging. The pass percentage is 70% and above.
Other: B.Sc. Electronics in the college is a self-financing course, but there are many opportunities available for aiding departments. Syllabus-wise, the subject is mostly enjoyable, but the current semester system does give us a bit of stress for exams. Internals and semester exams come pretty fast. Faculty members could do better in teaching by having some more application-level learning opportunities. But overall, the course is good. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of college programs have been canceled. The effects on students due to only learning for exams are pretty evident, and hopefully, all programs end up coming back. Fine arts programs and socially responsible programs such as NSS and NCC have a good base in the college. The students come from different parts of Kerala and India, and some international students from Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc. are also there. Aided batches have more scholarship opportunities. Sports programs are mainly for sports quota admission students, but trails do take place for others.

I'm okay with this college but placements for M.Sc. students are needed.
Placements: The placement cell is very much active in our college. So many UG students are placed. But in the case of M.Sc., there were fewer placements. The course B.Sc. Electronics are good for both girls and boys because we can get a job in any IT field, bank field, and in electronic field.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our campus are poor because the equipments in certain labs are too old. So they don't work properly. Wi-Fi is not free on campus and the range is also low. Facilities in the hostel are okay. Food is average in the hostel sometimes it is bad.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good in our college. The exams are conducted according to the correct time. Sometimes, exams are tough because of question papers. But it doesn't make students industry-ready. In our college, the grading system is continued. One has to check the grade because the percentage for placement in good manner is 60%.
Other: B.Sc. electronics is a course I just known before joining the college. But after that, I realised thay it was a good course. We want some more practical classes. Events and programs are not conducted in college with correct vibe.
