Good infrastructure and facilities with qualified teachers.

Placements: Being a first year student I'm not really sure about the placements and percentage of students placed. As far as I know an average package of 5 Lacs is offered and accompanies Deloitte, E & Y, PWC, HSBC, Zomato, etc. Come to our college for placement offers.

Review of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Placements: Faculty members are quite experienced and also the department. Although I have not experienced yet, but I heard that the placements are adequate. However, we will get to know completely about the placements when companies conduct drives. I hope the management will look after the placements for us more curiously for our better future so that the juniors could get reference through us.

Our college has a well defined placement cell which attracts good companies. Median salary was around 7 lacs and students were placed both in and outside Kolkata. Roles offered were such of junior equity analyst, CA etc.

The college has good faculty, and it's worthful.

Placements: The placements offered by this college are really good. In our batch, i.e., 2016-19, a number of companies visited the campus for placements. Companies like EY, ITC Royal Bengal, Wipro, Cognizant, Usha International, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Selvel, Arjava, Oyo Rooms, Oberoi Grand, ABP Group, JP Morgan, ICICI Bank, ETV Bharat, J Thomas, Future First, Red Carpet, Mahindra, Agarmet Tea, Springriver Technology, Kalolwala Associates, and PWC, etc., visit the campus for placements. The college has good placements and faculty.

Placements: For my batch, the highest salary package went up to 8 LPA. Students were offered roles according to their major in 3rd year. All the renowned companies in the corporate world like Uber, L&T, Google, etc., visited our campus. Summer internships are usually selected by the students themselves outside the college.

It is more like a school than a college.

Placements: When it comes to placements, students of our college do not really receive a very high salary package job. A decent salary package of around 7-10 LPA is what students are offered. Departments like mathematics, chemistry, and other basic sciences hardly receive any decent placements since the students prefer opting for further studies. Students in our college usually have 100% job placements. But only 2-3 students in our department opted for placements last year whereas others opted for further s...

Xavier's is undoubtedly one of the best in the country and is a dream college for many students.

Placements: St. Xavier's College, Kolkata was the first college in West Bengal to start the campus recruitment drives. The placement cell of the college regularly invites reputed companies like Google, Nestle, ITC, PWC, Deloitte, JP Morgan, and Future First etc. Around 550 students were placed in reputed companies and are offered competitive roles in 2017-2018. However, we are expecting higher placement numbers this time. The highest salary package offered last year was 18 LPA to a B.Com student, and the av...

The college provides a highly strict and disciplined life to students.

Placements: The placement cell in this college is really good. Job opportunities are provided by reputed companies like Wipro, Swiss, PwC, Deloitte etc. Salary packages offered to B.Com honours graduates are also commendable. Students are placed in different departments according to their interests, and they are even provided options to choose their city of work.

I am proud to be a part of this college.

Placements: Placements in our college can be rated average. At the beginning of the placement season, almost 4 to 5 good companies visit our college. That's the only time you need to pull up your socks and grab the opportunity. Later, the companies don't visit the college frequently, and most of them come only to offer internships.

Placements are good, but the infrastructure of the college is mediocre.

Placements: The college has a good placement cell which is very active in finding good job opportunities for as many students as possible. Companies from very diverse fields visit the campus to offer placements so that the students are not restricted to get only one type of job offer and can get opportunities for different profiles.

I would rate the college 3 out of 5.

Placements: A lot of renowned companies visit our college to offer placements. Some of the visiting companies are JP Morgan, Futures First, Ernst & Young, Deloitte etc. The average salary package ranges from 3-5 LPA, but the highest salary package may be nearly 12 LPA. Roles offered to students vary from marketing to finance and many other fields too.

One of the best faculty and infrastructures.

Placements: There were placements conducted during our time, but that was not enough when compared to the number of students admitted in college. The ratio of placement and the number of students getting placed is low. We have heard good things about placements, but according to me, they are not as good as we heard. However, if a student is excellent in academics and communication, he/she might get placed with good package.

The heritage and brand value of this college surpasses any other college in the city.

Placements: Placements at St Xavier's College are better than any other graduate college in the city. We had companies like Fortitude, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Deloitte, PwC visit the college to conduct placements. The salary packages offered were decent considering the fact that most of the students did not even complete any professional course that they might be pursuing in parallel. There is also a placement cell in the college which works efficiently.

Placements: The placements of our batch was quite satisfactory and almost 90% of the students who applied fpr placements got the job. Initially there were some hindrance in the enrollmemt procedure but then our placement cell was friendly and co-operative. Eventually it was a very enriching experience for us.

The faculty are great, but the placements are average.

Placements: The placements were very limited. Students don't usually sit for placements in our college as mostly are preparing for exams like CAT and pursuing courses such as CA, Actuaries etc. Not many companies visited our college. Packages were not too high that's why many students didn't sit for placements.

Placements: The placement cell provides decent support to the students. Mostly, the companies look for students from finance or marketing background. The college invites firms and startups. However, one cannot be reliant on the placement cell to have a good future.
