Overall, it is best college for a B.Sc. in Botany course.
Placements: Botany accounts for approximately 80% of available positions, depending on department. Every year, Hindustan Unilever hires 3-5 students and offers a salary package of approximately 35 LPA. During our training, Pfizer hires two students at a salary package of 30 LPA. Top ten students from college receive pay packages exceeding 25 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have a technical library, a department library, and centralized Wi-Fi. Each department has three to four computer laboratories, FAB labs, a physical education center, and three canteens. Each classroom is equipped with a projector, and both labs and classrooms are of excellent quality. College also manages one men's dormitory and two women's hostels, which are well-run.
Faculty: Faculty members are incredibly helpful. Although there are six teachers per semester and more than four staff members for lab work, they are all kind and knowledgeable in instructing students. They are also polite and compassionate. With a 99% pass rate, semester examinations are easy to score highly on.

Overall, the best college for B.Sc. in Botany Course.
Placements: Nearly 60-70% of pupils were placed on campus. The highest compensation payout available is between 17 and 28 LPA. The lowest compensation range is from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Wildlife SOS, Greenpeace, and Syngenta are the top recruiters. This course offers a variety of specializations for horticulturists and geneticists working for enterprises and industries.
Infrastructure: The college is exquisitely planned and nicely constructed. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus. It features four canteens, a central library, an international gym, a basketball court, a football field, and a game parlor. There is a clinic at the college as well. Students can use the hostel facilities. On campus, there are three distinct dorms for boys. The rooms have nice furnishings. There is also a mess facility.
Faculty: Instructors are very helpful and honest with their students. They also possess a wealth of expertise and qualifications. The level of instruction is good, and most teachers use intelligent classrooms. We are also exposed to the industry. The course content is revised as needed to assist us in becoming competitive in the field to meet its requirements. Exams for the semester are simple, and 89% of students pass.

It's a good college but can have better options in this price range.
Placements: 79% the lowest package was 25k per month and the highest was 28k per month 89% students got internship from. My course and there are lots of companies I actually don't know the names The top role that was offered to me was assisting manager in infosis office .
Infrastructure: Food was average in taste Hostel was well and cleaner but It was too congested to live there Medical facilites were nice, they were always concerned with our health and there were so many *tais* who used to clean our rooms when we were ill the helped us a lot Games were also good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful but not that much knowledgeable, even though they don't force us to study they just wanted us to pay the feels on time The course was relevant and It has a lot of scope in future The semester exams were difficult but they were actually helpful for our Next papers and practical learning .
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in it only and nothing else.

St.Xavier's College is affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Placements are really appreciated. Our college provides a couple of months of internship each year. So it is good to get real-time knowledge. I got placed in Tiliconveli Tech Park company through placements. More than 80 students attended the interview, but only 10 students got selected by the company. In the previous year of the course, in 3 months once any company visit the college and conduct interviews and select the candidates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is well-enough for studies.
Faculty: Exams are quite difficult. Faculty members in our college are good. The course curriculum is very good. Well-trained faculty members are only admitted to taking the class. Almost they teach practical experience. The exam structure is good. There are no more external questions. The marks were provided only by the content of students answer paper. Students get their actual marks and points from exams. Faculty members are knowledgeable and well-trained. In our course, every subject has separate faculty members. They teach their part with real-time experience. They provide a live project for relevant topics. So that students get more knowledge on the specific topics.
Other: The gender ratio may differ. There is no gender difference. Students parties are allowed. The workshops are held continuously. College life is very good, and it might be memorable. There is no tolerance with regard to gender. Christianity is important but not compulsory here. Choose this college by the ratings and advice getting from old students. I got my admission based on my examination mark. Every student has got their admission based on their marks and knowledge. First, students get admission forms from the college or college website. Then they submit their forms, and they will be evaluated by the management. Once they get a call from the college, it takes to the interview process. The interview is based on the course in which they get selected. After the interview results, students are admitted and start their course.

Really good quality education imparted by the faculty, faculty is quite nice and helpful.
Placements: 60% of students were placed. the highest package was Rs 16L, whereas the lowest was Rs 1 LPA. IBM and TCS are the top recruiters. 60% of students got internships. Computer Engineer was the top role offered. Students were quite happy with the package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi Speed is very slow and the classrooms could be better. There are only a few Wi-Fi routers located at distant places due to which, there are connectivity issues as well as the speed is very slow. However, the quality of food available in the mess in canteen is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are ready to help out whenever required. Yes, its curriculum is relevant and it makes the student's industry-ready. The college consists of one of the best faculty members available in India who were ready to help you at any point of the day and especially during exams.
Other: My passion for Computer Science made me chose this course. The quality of education is very high. The quality of classrooms could be improved. Events take place quite often barring this year because of Covid 19.

Honest review of St. Xavier's College by a senior student.
Placements: Mostly all the students who have above 85% will get placed through upcoming placements. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Companies like Tata, Axis, HDFC, CSI, and other top-rated companies and banks participate in placements, and nearly half of the students will get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Most of the faculty members are PhD scholars and are very well trained for college education. Even the office staff is very kind. There are two counselors in the college appointed for students who feel depressed or have other personal issues.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good, and concepts are explained clearly. Semester exams are sometimes tough and sometimes moderate, and they are never easy to pass. The minimum passing percentage is 40 in the semester examination and 20 in the internal examination.
Other: As a botany student, I suggest this course if you are really interested in plant sciences. Our department and the zoology department have very expensive machinery and equipment for students' practicals. The only area that should be improved is increasing admissions for male students.
