Review of STEP- Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (STEP-HBTI).

Placements: STEP HBTI Kanpur follows a cluster system instead of a day system for placements wherein the companies are categorised by function, industry, or sector instead of salary package offered or brand. The purpose of placements is to provide the best job to a person. Inevitably, the entire batch of general management technology gets placed every time within three days. Major roles offered are in consulting, financial and marketing domains.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, and it is and excellent.

Placements: STEP HBTI Kanpur follows a cluster system instead of a day system for placements wherein companies are categorised by function, industry or sector instead of the pay or brand. The placement process is not oriented towards achieving 100% placements, but to provide the best jobs. However, inevitably, the entire batch gets placed every time within 3 days. Overall, it is a good college to study.

Placements: Placements in our college are reasonably good, and the average salary package offered is around 5-6 LPA. The highest salary package offered is more than 10 LPA, and students can have many chances to get a salary hike within a couple of years after joining their jobs. During the last placement season, around 100 students got placed in various companies, including Exxon Mobil, TCS, ITC, Yatra, Samsung, Nerolac, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, and Adani Wilmar, etc.

It is an average college because of average infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Every student has a chance to attend interviews and get placed. Our seniors got good jobs in good companies. They were offered a salary package of 3-5 LPA. Faculty always support all students like a mentor to provide a good career. So faculty members are very supportive and helpful. There are core committee, marketing club, literary committee, and cultural committee in our college. They all are helping in conducting an event.

Please don't take admission in this college, bad experience, not worthy doing PGDM from here.

Placements: Placements of the college for the year 2016-18 were a bit improved as compared to the previous years. The placement coordinator was Dr Satish Chandra Ojha was really an active person and also helps to attract many companies for the placements. Companies such as Airtel was a very vital attraction, but the companies that visited for the students of HR domain were very less. Most of the companies offered for marketing positions.

I am not satisfied with the education system of this college, and the placements are very bad.

Placements: The placement records of the college are very bad. No company visits here for a placement drive, and even the college is not interested in inviting any company. If any company wants to come for placements, they reject or refuse to call them as the college is not even capable of bearing the expenses of placement drives.

One of the top-most management colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: Placements here were quite good. Companies hired the students from our college in a considerable number. Induction programs were excellent to explore the possibility of getting selected. Lots of companies were in the pipeline for the placement programs. Generally, they manage open campus placements. Our college also invites start-ups.

Satisfied with faculty, but not infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 85% of the students got placed through pool campus, so placements in the college are average. There are no campus placements in this college. Even though if any company visits the college for recruiting, they offer the worst opportunities. So if you want to get placed in a good company, you need to find it on your own.
