Classes at SKIT are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations. 80% weightage is given to external exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them. SKIT is usually visited by around 35-40 companies during its placement season. The college canteen offers a wide variety of food (both ve...

Overall, it's an average college, but I recommend you go for IIT if you want to pursue engineering.

Placements: Almost all students got placed in the college, but most of them got placed in the IT sector. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was towards zero. The top recruiting companies were Pinnacle and UltraTech. Most of the students got average jobs, which are not in line with the amount invested in the BTech or anything related to the course they studied.

It is a good college with absolutely great teachers.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA, but it is off-campus. The average salary package is 4 LPA to 6 LPA. It depends on your skills.

Our college has good faculty members and good placements.

Placements: In our college, approximately 60% of students are placed. The salary package offered is from 2.5 LPA to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Cognizant, Superset, and many others. Almost 90% of students got internships from government and semi-government agencies. According to them, we can take internships from outside in any field like programming.

Review of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology Management and Gramothan.

Placements: Our campus placements are good, and the atmosphere is good for placements. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, and Accenture. Many offers are from mass recruiting companies. Approximately 90-92% of students are placed.

Our college is not very nice.

Placements: Around 95% of students were placed every year. The highest salary package is 25 LPA and the average salary package is 11 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Google, Tata steel, etc. offer placements.

It's a decent tier 3 college. If you're not getting any tier 1 or 2 colleges you can go for this one

Placements: I'm still in 1st year so I haven't been placed yet. I think most of the students are placed through mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. The major mass recruiter in our college is Infosys. Maximum package offered is somewhat around 12-15 lacs per annum. Internship is not provided through college.

We can't say all things are perfect. There are some drawbacks in college apart from that it is good.

Placements: The placements in this college are good as well as bad. Many companies visit this college for placement. Students get selected if they stand the criteria of the company or else no. People not performing well in the interviews are disqualified and not selected.

SKIT will give only an engineering degree but nothing more.

Placements: Placements of core branches in not useful, but in the case of non-core branches, placements were helpful. The companies visited for placements were IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, Real State Groups, etc. But the placement cell was worthless because there were no companies.

Come to this college as a student to study and live college life with some restrictions.

Placements: Placements are not as expected because many seniors are waiting yet for placements, and few got placements. So confusion on this, because it depends on students only. Companies visit and select students just on the basis of subjects of engineering.
