The first rural government medical College in Asia.
Placements: I am currently studying MBBS first year in Swami Ramanand teerth rural government medical College and hospital, Ambajogai. We are a batch of 150 students. We will complete the MBBS course in 2026 and all the students will get placed as Medical Officer post in PHCs. The average package offered is around 70 k per month.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure has all the facilities. The facilities provided to us are a hostel in which there is room allowed per 3 students, a central mess in a hostel, volleyball court, table tennis, cricket ground, central canteen and a library with a Wi-fi.
Faculty: We are provided with very well qualified teachers. For each department, we have 6 teachers with 1 head of department, 2 associate professors and 4 assistant professors. The semester exams are over average and taken in a fair environment. The teaching quality is good.
Other: I choose this course as it is a Nobel Profession. The best thing about the course is that when we would complete this course we can actually be part of social service. The thing I would like to improve is the hostel management.

Asia's first rural GMC, good healthcare education !
Placements: Placed according to NEET UG scores & salary offered is around 60-90K. After UG, PG can be pursued by qualifying NEET PG. You can join private hospital or you can set up your own clinic after MBBS.
Infrastructure: There is a big college building & hostel is available, separate for boys as well as girls. Hostel has shared rooms for 2-3 students. Library has AC, Wi-fi services. For sports, there is ground behind college building. Gym in culture hall & food quality is okay.
Faculty: Teachers are obviously well qualified. Teaching quality is good. Students have no city life here, so those who wish to work hard & get a PG seat, this place is good. You'll miss city life, but you'll get adapted to this place. Exams are just like other college exams. If you study, you'll pass them or else you'll only pass in the final exams.
