Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Round-1 Result (Out), Reporting (Extended till Dec 12), Merit List, Seat Matrix

CET Cell Maharashtra will release the schedule for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 separately for each round. The following table brings the tentative dates of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 Round 1.

Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 2 Dates

The table below brings the tentative schedule for Round 2 of Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025. 

The eligibility criteria to participate in the Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling are given below.

Nationality:

• Candidates must be an Indian national to apply for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling  
• Non-resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for the 15 per cent NRI quota seats in unaided private/minority medical colleges
• Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are not eligible for Maharashtra PG medical counselling

Domicile:

• Candidate must have passed the final examination of the MBBS degree course from an institute in Maharashtra
• He/she must have completed the compulsory rotatory internship within the stipulated date as stated by NMC
• Candidates who have passed MBBS from a foreign university are not eligible
• Candidates who are domiciled in the state of Maharashtra and have completed his/her MBBS from outside Maharashtra (allocated a seat under 15 per cent AIQ), were also eligible for the counselling of Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025.

NEET PG 2025 Cutoff

 NBE has announced cutoff percentile score for NEET PG 2025 for each category, along with the declaration of the NEET PG 2025 result. The NEET PG cut off 2025 is provided below.

The Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling process is conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses, such as MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses offered at medical colleges in Maharashtra. 

The Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Counselling is being conducted online. The institute reporting and document verification processes have to be done by physically visiting the allotted institute. There will be approximately four to five rounds of the counselling process. 

The number of rounds may increase if there are vacant seats. Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate courses across medical colleges in Maharashtra have to register and fill the application form on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, by providing personal details, contact number, academic records, and NEET PG 2025 details, as and when the Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025 process begins. After the registration and choice filling, CET Cell Maharashtra will release a provisional merit list and seat allotment result. A physical document verification process will be held for selected candidates. 

Online Registration and Application

• Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 have to register themselves on the official website or directly enter the link  https://medicalug2025.mahacet.org/NEET-PGM-2025/login
• Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before filling the application form for Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling.
• They must also note that any changes to the application form of Maharashtra PG medical counselling can be made before the final submission. There is no provision to make changes to the details filled in the application once it is submitted.
• To complete the registration process, the candidate needs to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 3,000. The receipt of the application fee has to be preserved for future reference.
• The last step of registration is uploading the documents online. Documents can not be uploaded without paying the application fee.

Common state merit list

A common state merit list has been published on the official website of the Maharashtra CET cell. This is prepared based on the marks obtained in the NEET PG 2025 examination. Only those who are declared eligible in the online document verification process are included in this list.

Online preference filling

Details of the seats available through the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 will be published online. Candidates named in the state merit list have to fill up a preference form online to apply for these seats. Candidates must remember that the choices filled in the preference form can be changed any number of times before submitting it, but once submitted, there will not be any option to modify. Also, this is a one-time process only and candidates will not be given a chance to change their choices before the subsequent round of Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling.

The selection process by CAP

Selection of the candidates was based on the choices filled in the preference form and the rank obtained in the state merit list. Candidates who wish to retain the seats allocated to them must report to the respective institute before the deadline.

Joining the allotted institute

Candidates have to report to the allotted institute with all their documents for the verification process. They have to deposit the fees after the verification process is complete and must join the institute immediately.

• Copy of duly filled application form 
• NEET PG 2025 scorecard
• NEET PG 2025 admit card
• A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card, Driving license, PAN card, Passport)
• Nationality Certificate or Passport, or School Leaving Certificate 
• MBBS degree certificate
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate.
• Certificate from the Head of the Institute from which the candidate has completed his/her MBBS degree, stating that the institute is recognised by MCI.
• Medical Fitness Certificate
• Receipt for the application fee payment
• Caste Certificate
• Medical Disability Certificate
• No Objection Certificate in case of in-service candidates
• Orphan Certificate
• Bond Release Certificate
