This college has good faculty members and the department is growing as well.

Placements: There were no students placed as the placement drive was not held due to the pandemic situation. I was from the pilot batch. The internship went great. Some of the students were placed in the hotels in Chandigarh, and my friends went to Grand Hyatt, Goa for the internship, it was a good experience, but the pandemic ruined it all.

Faculty members of the college are friendly, but the college management is not good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. A lot of students got placed through campus placement drives. Companies visit the campus for recruitment in the short term, but the salary packages offered by them are very low. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra, etc., visited for the campus placements. The average stipend offered by the companies during the internship is Rs. 8,000.

Good placements and qualified faculty.

Placements: Placements in SVIET are average. Every year around 60-70% of students get placed. The highest package offered is around 8 lacs per annum, the lowest is 2-3 lacs per annum, and the average is 3-3.50 lacs per annum. Generally, Chandigarh based companies visit our campus for placements. Around 50% of students get internships with Rs. 10,000-12,000 stipend per month. There is a training and placement cell in the college, and it is very useful.

SVIET is a developing college.

Placements: The placements conducted in the college are above average. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon visit the college many times. The placement system is extremely well. The college conducts placements for 2 or 3 times in a year for the same batch. Getting placed in the campus placements depends on the talent of the students.

Infrastructure and placements are good and rest are rubbish.

Placements: The placements are not good for my senior batch or my batch. Nearly 20 to 25 percent of the students got placed. The highest package was about 15 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is near about 2.50 lakhs per annum. Many companies visited the campus such as HCL, CMC, Infosys etc. The roles offered to the students are junior engineers, engineer, site engineer etc.

Great faculty members, good placements, infrastructure, and library, and poor mess food.

Placements: The placement in our college is conducted as joint placement. The students from other colleges also take part in the placement exam, and the best ones are selected. The highest package offered to the students is 15 LPA. Our college has the placement cell.

Satisfied with the college placements and facilities.

Placements: The placements offered are quite good because of the technological background which is easy to fetch a handful of reputed and prestigious companies by the college to get their students placed. The companies such as Infosys and HCL visit the campus, and the average package received by the students is nearly and between 5-7 lacs per annum.

Excellient college for technical.

Placements: My college was very good. It is affiliated to PTU. It has good placement records, highly qualified faculty members, fully Wi-Fi campus and the best library. It is among the top ten colleges of Punjab Technical University. The reputation that SUS Group enjoys is largely due to the vision of the management and the commitment of the faculty. Their devotion, excellence and efficiency are manifested not only in their classrooms but also in all activities encompassing the campus. ...

Placements: The placement record for mechanical engineering department is very poor. Not a single core mechanical company visits the campus. The college will try to push you in IT SECTOR as the maximum companies which will visit the campus will be from IT industry. Some of our seniors were placed in different sectors. Swami Vivekananda institute of technology has a good infrastructure, ambiance, faculty as well as good management. The only thing missing in my institute is a playground. Many students choose alternate places to play cricket and other sports. On the other hand, events like dandiya and annual day are conducted in a big scale. Coming to placements, my juniors got placed into Infosys through campus placement, and management is trying to attract many organisations. The biggest advantage with SVIT is...
