Faculty members of the college are friendly, but the college management is not good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. A lot of students got placed through campus placement drives. Companies visit the campus for recruitment in the short term, but the salary packages offered by them are very low. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra, etc., visited for the campus placements. The average stipend offered by the companies during the internship is Rs. 8,000.

Good placements and qualified faculty.

Placements: Placements in SVIET are average. Every year around 60-70% of students get placed. The highest package offered is around 8 lacs per annum, the lowest is 2-3 lacs per annum, and the average is 3-3.50 lacs per annum. Generally, Chandigarh based companies visit our campus for placements. Around 50% of students get internships with Rs. 10,000-12,000 stipend per month. There is a training and placement cell in the college, and it is very useful.

SVIET is a developing college.

Placements: The placements conducted in the college are above average. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon visit the college many times. The placement system is extremely well. The college conducts placements for 2 or 3 times in a year for the same batch. Getting placed in the campus placements depends on the talent of the students.

Don't take admission in SVIET. Save money and your career.

Placements: The word "placement" was only used for ECE and CSE branch students in my college. No company visited our college for civil, mechanical, and other branches. You can check records and can ask any SVIETian unless he/she is SVIET management person. I request all the students to take admission in a good college/university. Don't take admission by considering the low budget and join a disgusting college like SVIET which only focuses on collecting fees and fines from students. They use students for the...

Less expenses, good campus but the worst accommodation and faculty I have ever seen.

Placements: In my batch (me 2012-2016) there was only a sinlestudent who got hired in campus placement even though our seniors got a little bit opportunity than us because they had 3 companies to visit in our campus at that time like coca cola and Mahindra but we hadn't got any such renowned companies and as I can remember there were 4-6 seniors who got placement in those companies so the percentage is quite low but if you are a brilliant student you might get selected in campus placement. The highest salar...

Only thing good in this college, is the infrastructure. Don't waste your money

Placements: In the mechanical branch, there are no placements. In the period of 4 years, I had never seen any company coming for the placements. Beware if you want to get admission in this college. There is a placement cell, which is useless.

The college is average. You have many options other than this.

Placements: Placements are low for this university as renowned companies don't visit the campus. There's a high chance you'll go unplaced as very few companies visit the campus, and there are many students who are willing to get placed. There are many alternatives available.

I will love my college and it is very excellent.

Placements: My college is very disciplined. The teacher are very supportive. All teachers are well educated. There is more girls in our college and a big canteen to site and discuss with friends. We can play games like cricket, volleyball, tennis etc. Yearly there will be a tournament in our college in games n presentations after the tournament there will be a prizes distribution.

Okay college, but not good for taking admission.

Placements: In my college, no one gets placed in my branch because no company visited the campus to provide a job for mechanical engineering. The placements are worst in my college. No one is placed in mechanical branch, so taking admission in this college is my biggest mistake.

Don't destroy your child career.

Placements: The placements in our college are not good, very few students have got placements, not much companies visit our college. There is a placement cell, but although not much helpful to the students, and students who have got the placement, offers very low packages. So this is not a good institution, they fool students to gain admission. If any of the students raise with an issue, they delay your placement saying will come will come, nothing goes well, we have to watch the fake promises. I'm telling ...

Infrastructure and placements are good and rest are rubbish.

Placements: The placements are not good for my senior batch or my batch. Nearly 20 to 25 percent of the students got placed. The highest package was about 15 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is near about 2.50 lakhs per annum. Many companies visited the campus such as HCL, CMC, Infosys etc. The roles offered to the students are junior engineers, engineer, site engineer etc.

Great faculty members, good placements, infrastructure, and library, and poor mess food.

Placements: The placement in our college is conducted as joint placement. The students from other colleges also take part in the placement exam, and the best ones are selected. The highest package offered to the students is 15 LPA. Our college has the placement cell.

Good place for the education, but does not have the great infrastructure and the facilities.

Placements: The placement is good for CSE stream in comparison to the others. Many of companies have visited here, and they offer the average package of 2.5-3 LPA. There is a placement cell which tries to bring the companies and also conduct the open campus placement.

The college is in the region, which is good and has the great infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The campus is good in providing the placements. There is the regular visit of companies on the campus for the placements of the college students. So, many students can get the good salary packages from these companies. The companies like NIIT, Wipro, Infosys visited the campus recently for the placements.

Help the young generation to save their career.

Placements: There are no placements in the college. They just make fake promises for the 100% placements, but actually, only BPO companies visit in SVIET. Don't spoil your career by getting admission in SVIET. When I was in college, no technical company visited the college. Mamsys visits our campus mainly for BPO and offers 15k per month only. 10% placements were provided and that is in BPO.

Placements: The placements are good for the students in this college. MNC companies regularly visit the campus, which held tier tests and gives the opportunity to every student. The students can get the package up to 15 LPA in the college placements.

A below average private college.

Placements: The placement of the college is just below average. There are very few companies in the core field which visit the campus for placement, and most of them are joint campus drives. Most of the companies come here for recruiter profile. Even, I being an intelligent student, didn't get any placement from the college.

The college and facilities are not worth the money.

Placements: The placements are very average. Only a few small companies visit the campus for placement drives. Only a few students got placed from my batch with the average salary packages. There are no special arrangements for the internships for students. The placement cell is also average.

It is a good college. It is a pretty cool experience over there.

Placements: The placement record is good overall in the university. The package offered per annum is good. Off-campus placement depends on your knowledge and calibre. I think placement is something that totally depends on you and your talent. If your percentage in the semesters is good, then you can easily get placed in renowned companies and can get a handsome salary. Normally, above 90% students get placed every year.

Overall a good college to take admission in.

Placements: In our college, there are good placements for all the students irrespective of their branch. But the students of computer science always stand out as a highlight because of the packages offered to us. We have various companies visiting the campus.
