The best college for placements and the best infrastructure and facilities

Placements: Placements in SVIET for civil engineering are very good. Last year, CTCI gave a 4.6 lacs+ package to our seniors and they are very happy working there. Also, many IT companies visit us regularly for job & placements. I think SVIET is providing the best placement in Punjab. Many other colleges students also came to our campus for their placement. I feel proud that I have chosen a good college.

Satisfied with the college placements and facilities.

Placements: The placements offered are quite good because of the technological background which is easy to fetch a handful of reputed and prestigious companies by the college to get their students placed. The companies such as Infosys and HCL visit the campus, and the average package received by the students is nearly and between 5-7 lacs per annum.

The college is better in quality and good for future as compared to other.

Placements: There is average placement in this college. Every college says that they have good placement, but it's not true. So, this college gives the placement who deserve in highly known and advanced companies. The companies like Capgemini, Mahindra, etc., visit this college.

Satisfied with the overall college enviroment.

Placements: Placements were good for my senior batch as well as my batch. The highest salary offered wad 8 lakhs and the lowest was 3 lakhs. Companies such as Infosys, Bebo Technologies, HCL, etc. visited. Roles such as software engineer, system engineer, etc. were offered. Internship was offered to 80 percent of the students. The highest stipend was Rs. 10,000 and the lowest was Rs. 3,000.

Placements: The placement of the college is decent. The average package for my course is around 5 lacs p.a. Many companies visited our campus this year. Many of my seniors got placed. The main role given by the companies was of trainee engineer. The companies ranged from the national level to top level MNCs.

Excellient college for technical.

Placements: My college was very good. It is affiliated to PTU. It has good placement records, highly qualified faculty members, fully Wi-Fi campus and the best library. It is among the top ten colleges of Punjab Technical University. The reputation that SUS Group enjoys is largely due to the vision of the management and the commitment of the faculty. Their devotion, excellence and efficiency are manifested not only in their classrooms but also in all activities encompassing the campus. ...

A college with an impeccable placement record.

Placements: Placement opportunities provided to the students are really amazing. Top multinational companies like Bajaj, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Capgemini, Ericsson, Mamsys etc. visit the campus for recruitment and provide handsome packages. There is a separate Training and Placement Cell which provides help and guidance to the students. The Training is started from the very first year of the course. Efforts are made to place each & every student.

Lucky to get into this college.

Placements: The placement from this college are good as compared to other colleges. The college was visited by many companies like Accenture, Maymas, Capgemini, IndusInd Bank, US Tech Solution and others. The highest package offered was around 8 lacs p.a. We in the first year also got a chance to work at good companies as a part of the training. The alumni network is also very strong.

Great college to go for. The campus life is enriching and fun.

Placements: Amazon visited our campus with a 15.5 lacs p.a. package. Many companies visited our college this year. Many of my seniors were placed in Infosys and Wipro. Companies like Mayamas, Ericsson, Tech Mahindra, etc. also took many students from our college. We also had a chance to interact with our seniors who are currently working in large tech companies at senior posts. Many of them are settled in the USA.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and labs. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement record for mechanical engineering department is very poor. Not a single core mechanical company visits the campus. The college will try to push you in IT SECTOR as the maximum companies which will visit the campus will be from IT industry. Some of our seniors were placed in different sectors. The college tries its best for the placement but will not take guarantee for this. Generally, the salary offered is quite good for a fresher. It may vary from 3.5 lacs per annum to 6-8 lacs p...

It is always very tough to study in a college like SVIET, where no one will listen to you.

Placements: SVGOI organises placements in the field of IT only in engineering. If I talk about my personal experience, till date not a single company ever visited the campus for the profile of RF engineer or an electronics engineer which is my core domain actually. They just bring BPOs for placements, which is not worth it.

It is a worst college. Don't take admission here.

Placements: Some of our seniors have left the companies after 6 months only because companies are just like BPOs and not any core companies. The college provides placements mostly from BPO & target completion companies. No matter you're studying in SCE, ME or ECE, you can sit in all the placement drives. If you're in civil branch, you'll never get the placement from here. In last few weeks, Tech Mahindra, Amazon and Pepsico visited here. The highest salary offered is 15 LPA & the lowest is 1.25 LPA. 30 to 4...

Swami Vivekananda institute of technology has a good infrastructure, ambiance, faculty as well as good management. The only thing missing in my institute is a playground. Many students choose alternate places to play cricket and other sports. On the other hand, events like dandiya and annual day are conducted in a big scale. Coming to placements, my juniors got placed into Infosys through campus placement, and management is trying to attract many organisations. The biggest advantage with SVIT is...

SVIET, is one of the college in Banur.I took admission here in 2010 and the crowd that joined the campus was mainly from Punjab, Kashmir and Delhi. Undoubtedly, the crowd here is good and friendly. Facilities are very less as there is only one canteen and that also does not cook good food to eat so we generally have to eat from outside. Playgrounds are there where we can generally play cricket, football etc. Labs are there but the equipment's are not there. Management pays more attention to theo...

SVIET is one of the colleges that was started in 2004 and which is still in the process of development. College life was fun and exciting. I made many friends from Delhi, Kolkata, Amritsar and many other places. Here, the crowd ere is very friendly and here you would hardly ever see a fight. Placement is the thing that the management least consider here and that’s the reason why students have to search for the job on their own. They are only the attendance and theoretical knowledge. They did not...

Crowd here is almost from all the cities across India and at the same time, it is good and friendly. I was lucky enough to make a lot of friends. Campus does not have much facilities and some which are there are not of much use, such as our Gym which is there, but does not have the latest equipments which are required in a gym. Management hardly bothers about Placement, as only about 5-10% people get placed from the campus and the rest have to search for the job on their own. Faculty Members are...

College life was amazing, the crowd of the college is very good. Faculty here is very supportive and cooperative. Campus has a small gym and a playground too. Hostel facility is available for both boys as well as girls. The thing that lacked behind most was the placement during my time. Only small scale companies came to the campus and were giving jobs for the profile of BPO at a package of 1.5 lacs. Only 10% students got placed from the college rest all had to find job own their own. Infrastruc...

I will say never take admission in this college. It is not worth wasting your money. There is no placement cell and they will spoil your future. College has a very poor infrastructure. I will say you better quit studying instead of taking admission in this college

Overall, very good experience.

Placements: Many courses offer many placements as many companies offer jobs every year when students clear their courses, they get jobs. But some courses' students don't get jobs very easily because of the demand in the market. But somehow, students manage to get jobs out in the world.
