It is a good college for Applied Statistics.

Placements: The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Morgan Stanley, L&T financial services, FT Cash, IQVIA, Genpact, and many more esteemed companies came to recruit students. Roles included analyst, data scientist, data analyst, business analyst. Around 90% of students have been placed and placements are ongoing.

Infrastructure: The hostel is situated at the heart of Pune. This makes it easy for the students to have everything within walking distance. Even the security and hygiene are well maintained. The mess has good food with non-vegetarian options as well. Everything is cleaned regularly.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful and fully cooperate with the online settings. The course curriculum is relevant as per the industry needs. It makes a good foundation that students as they need for real, practical work in the real world. Semester exams are conducted well in this college.

Other: Statistics is emerging well in the industry which led me to choose this course. I wish this course would have been a physical one so, that I could have enjoyed and attended all the events and activities.

It is a good place to grow as a student.

Placements: Till now, 94% of the students got placed for the roles like data analyst, business analyst, risk analyst, data science, actuarial, python, statistician and spring analyst intern. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Big companies like Amazon and Morgan Stanley visited the campus.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. The college has been shifted to a big building with 2 computer labs and ample of computers for batches to fit in. The college provides Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are spacious. The college has both online and offline libraries for students.

Faculty: The pass percentage is 100%. Semester exams are taken from what is taught. Teachers here are extremely qualified, and they clear doubts instantly. They make proper presentations. The course curriculum is revised every year and is made in consultation with the industry people.

Other: SSI gives a lot of importance to extracurricular activities, and scholarships are given to the merit holders. I have chosen this course because of my interest in statistics. The college provides a wholesome environment for each individual to grow. We have committees for everything, and events are conducted every month.

Small college but good opportunities.

Placements: A huge number of students were placed in my college with great packages, and the packages were of different ranges. A great number of recruitment companies came over for our Master's students, but since it's a new introductory course, there isn't a 4th-year placement batch yet. A hundred percent of placement is guaranteed in this college.

Infrastructure: Hostels are well-equipped with 3-sharing bedrooms and with facilities like attached washrooms, single beds, tables, cupboards, and a common room with cooking gas, fridge, and microwave available. The mess has food four times a day: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The food quality is below average and keeps falling down till a complaint is made. Our campus is just a building with 3 floors, an office, 2 classrooms, and 2 labs. There are few clubs formed that you can join, and sports events are also there.

Faculty: The faculty can be better, but we have very few faculty members who are not so experienced. The course structure is good and detailed, along with a detailed syllabus. We have even and odd semesters with different weightages. The course provides great relevance to the subjects taught, and exams are easy, with students passing easily.

Other: Overall, we have two main events: Samyukt and Viplav, and due to the small number of students, we all know each other, and it's like a small family. I chose this course because it had a lot of scope, and this college guarantees great opportunities.
