BTech is the flagship course of IIT Bombay. It is a four-year full-time course offered at the UG level. NIRF ranked IIT Bombay at 3 under the 'Engineering' category. Talking about placement, the highest international and domestic package offered during IIT Bombay placements 2023 stood at INR 3.67 crore per annum and INR 1.68 crore per annum, respectively. IIT Bombay fee is cumulative of various components, in which, some are one-time paid while others are paid semester-wise. The IIT Bombay BTech tuition fee ranges between INR 8 lakh and INR 20 lakh. Additionally, the caution deposit is INR 14,900. The hostel fee without mess is INR 99,600 and with mess is INR 1.81 lakh. NTA released the JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 on October 28, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 registration date was October 28 to November 22, 2024. JEE Main 2025 application form was available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. As the JEE Mains 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions, NTA will release session 2 application form on  January 31, 2025.

Yes, IIT Bombay offers a four-year BTech in eight specialisations. Admission to these programmes is based on merit in JEE Advanced. Only the students who pass JEE main can take the advanced exam. The aspirants who furher meet the cutoff criteria can participate in JoSAA counselling.

The total seat intake for MA by Research is 20. This seat intake is as per the 2022-2023 sanctioned strength. IIT Bombay JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. Normally, the number of seats is directly proportionate to the Cutoff ranks. NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Candidates wishing to get into BTech course of IIT Bombay have to qualify for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. The selected candidates based on JEE score are allotted seat through JoSAA Counselling. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for JEE Main. Admission to the institute after Class 12 is open for BTech, BS and BDes courses. After completing Class 12, candidates must qualify JEE Main, JEE Advanced followed by the JoSAA Counselling for BTech and BS courses. For BDes, UCEED score is required for admission.

No, admission to IIT Bombay BTech is through JEE Main/Advanced only, there is no separate application fee of the institute. To take the JEE Mains examination, aspirants need to pay the application fee. The category-wise application fee amount is as follows:

• INR 800  (Female unreserved/OBC/EWS category)
