Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Aviation Mangement - Batch of 2025

Review of T. John Group of Institutions.
Placements: The batch that I'm in is 2022-2025 in the BBA aviation course. Our batch is the first to start this course in this college and has gone through so much in the starting, and now we are happy about it. It is slowly improving with students. Being the first batch, we went for internships at Chennai International Airport under the airport authority of India. The role offered is customer service. This internship made me gain more knowledge and experience in this field of study. All students in our class got internships in their own selected places as it is compulsory for all.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very eco-friendly and environment friendly. There are 8 different departments that include management studies, BHM, B.Com, BCA, pharmacy, technology, engineering, and nursing. There are facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, and a cafeteria in our college which are useful for students when needed. There is a hostel facility for both boys and girls. The quality of the food provided in the mess is manageable. Sports events are conducted frequently in both indoor and outdoor activities. The most common and acceptable sport in this college is football as it has the center of the main football ground.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified in the college. They help students in all the ways. The quality of their teaching is the best when it comes to making us understand all the concepts in detail. The course curriculum is very relevant as it encourages students to pursue the course with all goals and interests. Semester exams are not very difficult and can be passed easily with the help of teachers. The passing percentage is about 50-65%.
Other: I chose this course because it has been one of my goals since my childhood to get into the aviation industry. The best thing about this course is that it helps students achieve most of the things and helps them gain additional knowledge on what is going in around them. There are regular activities and fests held every month for the entertainment of students' lifestyles.

Happiness in T. John as a nursing student.
Placements: In our class there were 52 students. I have paid 200,000 for my 1st year tuition fee, including donation, and 90,000 for the coming 3 years. We have to pay extra fees for clinical postings; it is according to the hospital policy. And we have placements in Apollo, Sakra, and many top hospitals, and our seniors got the placements in this hospital last month.
Infrastructure: We have different labs for each subject with high facilities. And have one library that has more than 3000 books. Phones are not allowed on our college campus. We have sufficient classrooms. And in the hostel we do have our own hostel. We have 2 hostels with college affiliation. And my hostel was very nice and had a calm atmosphere. The ambience is very good. Every Sunday we have an outing from 7 am to 6 pm.
Faculty: The teachers are very efficient, talented, and have a lot of knowledge about the subject. It was a better thing for us. The academic is overall excellent for me. We have to attend 4 exams in one semester (2 internals, 1 model, and the university exam). For practical exams, we have OSKI and one model exam during our clinical posting and finally the university exam.
Other: We don't have that much program. We will celebrate everything only for 2 hours after the regular class. But we have SNA (Student Nurses Association), which will conduct so many programs for 1 week in every academic year that have much enjoyment, a lot of funds, and so many competitions in sports and cultural activities.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2023

The college life was decent but there were no good placements.
Placements: I have completed MCA 2021-2023 batch. The placements for the MCA batch were very bad, as no one got campus selection. The reason could be because of the recession in the market but still, no company has visited the college. Those who visited were training institutions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. Sports and games were pretty good. The college canteen provides good food and it was a pretty good experience. The labs were okay; there are many systems but they were lacking A/C. Classrooms were good with smart boards.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful and knowledgeable but some of them weren't. The teaching quality was okay. The curriculum was old; they should make it relevant. The syllabus and curriculum won't make a student industry-ready. The syllabus is based on Bangalore University, as they are affiliated with Bangalore University.

Studies, sports, and NCC are good.
Placements: As I have taken a BBA course, it is all theory-based and basically about our speaking skills and communication between each other (interaction). We have around 37 in our class, and I pay around 80k for a year. Our placement is not that well placed. We need to find our own internship. Education is good at Tjohn College, and teachers are helpful.
Infrastructure: We have a library and labs for MBA and kitchen facilities for BHM and BCA computer labs and big playgrounds and water facilities, washrooms, cleanliness, etc. Hostel is provided for boys inside the college, and hostel for girls is provided outside the college. Medical facilities are not there, but sports and games and events are conducted, and we have a veg and non-veg canteen with a bakery for snacks and a xerox shop for printouts.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they counsel and mentor us and guide us through whatever we talk about. The course curriculum is relevant. We need more as students to explore and experience to get through more risk in jobs and how to handle them and come through difficulties. It's not that hard if we have studied, and mostly all of them pass it.
Other: I choose BBA case I want to go in the field of human resources, as business administration teaches all the parts of HR, as we take it as the specialization. We do get scholarships for the students who have scored more in their 12th grade. We conduct events, and the campus crowd is more and more surrounded by greenery and forest areas, which is beautiful.

Dissatisfied because of plenty of unwanted rules. But good at teaching.
Placements: Almost 40 to 50% of students will get placement with the highest package of 4 LPA and the lowest of 2 LPA. Companies like Alembic and MedPlus came for our placements, which are good established companies. Internships will be of our own interest. Job roles differs according to the companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available in this college but not up to par, but still, it's okay. Average lab facilities, adequate classes, decent library, etc. are there. The hostel is pretty decent, and the food is above average. Sports activities will be encouraged in the college depending on your performance.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced and have good knowledge. They all are at least having a master's degree. Syllabus are related to this field only and all the faculties are helpful to make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty tough but still, college provides above 75% pass percentage.

Reality check before you join.
Placements: Average college, only hyped, neither exceptionally good nor bad. However, you will regret it; not a first-choice college, to be honest. Placement rates are high, but average packages are offered. The college management is one of the worst I have ever seen in my lifetime. No proper schedule; everything is clumsy, and there is no proper communication. They claim to be autonomous but don't live up to that level.
Infrastructure: The college has a very old infrastructure, and the washrooms are not well-equipped. The toilets have mugs. Drinking water facilities are available but without glasses. The classrooms are average, and Wi-Fi is not available. The library is good but filled with unwanted stuff.
Faculty: Some teachers are really very experienced and helpful, while others are just not suitable for this course. Overall, it's an average teaching experience. Semester exams are autonomous starting from the year 2024. The curriculum is based on Bangalore University curriculum.
Other: The only thing about this college is that it provides scholarships. The fee structure, therefore, is within limits. Value for money, with heavy discounts for good students, up to nearly 50%.
