Review of Tara Devi Harakh Chand Kankariya Jain College

Faculty: Teachers were above average in knowledge Semester examination is not very difficult. Almost 40 to 50 % of students pass each semester and this also depends on the level of examination paper. Sometimes paper comes easy though so, the passing percentage is not fixed.

Best Review of THK Jain College.

Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. The curriculum includes various programs throughout the year. Each semester comprises two exams: internals and finals. The semester exams are manageable for students who attend classes regularly, with a pass percentage set at 50% in English and three other subjects.

Average college with a nice infrastructure .

Faculty: The teachers are fine, but not very good. Their English is below average; even the English teachers use Hindi or Bengali. The college follows CU, so the course is more or less the same as any college providing B.Com (Hons). College exams are good, but the teachers are not that helpful.

It is not that bad college but can give more facilities and can be more advanced.

Faculty: The teachers are mostly humble, but some of them don't know how to speak basic English, which makes them seem unprofessional. The teachers complete the syllabus on time, and the exams are not that difficult. The passing percentage is around 80%.

A peaceful college life with good infrastructure.

Faculty: There are many faculty members in the college. Most of them are very supportive and friendly. The internal assessments are easy to pass if you attend classes and take notes. However, the semester exams are quite challenging, with a pass percentage of only 30%.

Best Facility, Infrastructure, and Good Placement in 2019.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable enough to teach us effectively, and we are grateful for their guidance. They offer extra classes for students who struggle to understand during regular sessions, so we don’t need private tutors. The curriculum is relevant for those aiming for a business background, making us more knowledgeable and better prepared for the future. We don’t have semester exams; instead, we have yearly exams, with a pass percentage of 30%.

All things can't be positive; some negative things are present.

Faculty: The faculty of microbiology is good. The teachers are very helpful. They provide notes and teach very well. Our college is under Calcutta University, so the question paper is made by them. Teachers and their teaching procedures are appreciable.

Absolutely satisfied with the culture and atmosphere of the college .

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and very knowledgeable and the teaching techniques are very good. Semester exams, which were conducted in the college, are difficult and attendance is strict. The overall passing percentage is 99% and above. And in the B.Com. (H) department, the passing percentage is 100 for the session 2021–22 of the final year students.

Really good college in Kolkata.

Faculty: The faculty members demonstrate exceptional politeness and friendliness. Each faculty member possesses extensive qualifications and teaching experience, facilitating student comprehension. In addition to textbook instruction, teachers provide real-life examples and explanations. The curriculum is practical and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are challenging for those who have not studied, but attentive students can pass by focusing in class. The pass percentage is set at 40% a...

Semester exams are pretty tough.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, though some professors are really good, they have a few rotten apples who don't really know how to make a concept easier for the students, other than that the faculty is really good. The exams here are held by Calcutta University, and they are pretty tough compared to other universities.

Satisfied with everything but only drawback is the washrooms maintainance.

Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified and they are extremely polite they explain to the students in every language to make them understand better. For better understanding students are taught Audio visually. And all modern ways of learning are used for high quality learning and yes the learning makes the student industry ready. Semester exams are difficult no doubt but continuous learning which the college provides makes them easier.

Really good infrastructure and faculty members .

Faculty: Teachers are extremely friendly, and the faculty is of the highest caliber. I have opted for a B.Com. (Hons.) (4-year course), and the professors have very deep knowledge of the subjects and are very well qualified and experienced, and the teaching quality is very good. This course gives you exposure, for sure. Passing in B.Com. (Hons) is not a big deal; however, CU exams are a little tough, but if you have knowledge, you can easily crack them.
