Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies Placement overview

TIAS Delhi has a Training and Placement Cell (T&P) at its campus that ensures to place a maximum number of students and to provide 100 per cent placement assistance. As per the information gathered through multiple sources, the institute recorded almost 100% per cent placements for MCA programme in 2018. Over 50 companies across the country and abroad visit the campus in placement season.

MCA programme has seen an increase of 48 per cent in placements 2018 as compared to previous years. MBA programme topped the placements with an average package of Rs 6 LPA. The top companies were Airtel, Aviva, Genpact, Bonanza and Policy Bazar, etc. However, the latest placement records are not available at official website.

Best college for fun.

Placements: 50%-60% of students were placed in my course. 2The highest package offered was 7 lacs to 8 lacs per annum. The average package offered was 5 lacs to 6 lacs per annum. The lowest package offered was 3 lacs to 4 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were Zomato, Concentrix, Radiant Solutions, and Aditya Birla Groups.

Infrastructure: Equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors, smart boards, and comfortable seating arrangements. Laboratories: Specialized labs for practical work, including computer labs with up-to-date software, science labs with necessary equipment, and collaborative space for group projects. Library: A well-resourced library with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources. It also offers study areas and access to online databases. Wi-Fi: No availability of Wi-Fi. Technical Support: On-site IT support for any technical issues with equipment. No hostel is there; students live in their own flats and PGs.

Faculty: The teachers in our department are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with many having extensive experience in their fields. They provide support through office hours and are often available for extra help outside of class. The curriculum is designed to be relevant and aligned with industry standards, preparing students effectively for the job market. It includes hands-on experiences, internships, and opportunities for networking with industry professionals. The semester exams are generally manageable, with most students finding them relatively easy to pass. The pass percentage does not really matter, as teachers are very lenient in giving marks.

Other: I chose the BBA course because it gives me a strong foundation in business and prepares me for the job market. The best things about the course are the practical learning opportunities, knowledgeable faculty, and useful internships. I wish there were more networking events and extracurricular activities to enhance student life. The campus is lively, with regular events and fests. Overall, it's a solid mix of academics and activities.

Main Canteen Serves Tasty Food

Placements: The placement record at our college is a bit low, with an average package of around 2 Lacs. Top recruiters include Reliance and Hindustan Times. However, if students focus on developing their skills, they can easily secure a higher-paying job. Our college provides a good environment to learn skills that make you market-ready.

Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities, with AC classrooms equipped with smart class technology and a central library that has many books and ample study space. The main canteen serves tasty and affordable food. Additionally, there are excellent sports facilities, including two badminton courts and a medium-sized playground.

Faculty: Our college teachers are very supportive, and almost all have deep knowledge about their subjects. The curriculum is updated, and the semester exams are easy. The exam question papers are set by IPU University and are the same for all colleges affiliated with IPU.

Review of TECNIA INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES.

Placements: Placement cell is good in our college, all the students who gave the interview got placed in a very decent companies. While many students has opted for post graduation in MCA and do internships with companies while pursuing MCA. The highest package offered is between 6-8 LPA, the average package is 2.5 LPA, the lowest package is 1.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. In our college, the Wi-Fi facility is also provided but it all depends on connectivity strength. Hostel facilities isn't available in our college. We have two separate canteens for both buildings. Medical facilities are also there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable but there are some teachers who do not teach well. Whole class face this problem and sometimes we have to take help from online video or website. Semester exams are very tough as taught and prepared during the class.

Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in coding. One thing I wish to improve is infrastructure. Events and fests are held in the month of December and February.

Placements: The placement at our college is below average, with an average package of 2 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are Hindustan Times, Accenture, Wipro, etc. The highest package offered last year was 10.2 Lacs per annum. Last year, almost 40 percent of students got placed, while many chose to pursue higher studies.

Infrastructure: Our campus is located in Rohini and is of average size. It includes 2 badminton courts, a basketball court, and a decent playground. The main canteen is spacious and can easily accommodate 50 people. The classrooms are well-maintained and include smart classrooms.

Faculty: Our college faculty is highly experienced in their fields and very supportive. However, the curriculum taught is a bit outdated and needs to be reviewed. The exam difficulty is decent; with a month of preparation, one can score good marks.

It is a very awful college in Tecnia.

Placements: Placements are not good in this college. Our college provides call center jobs. Off-campus placements are the only option students have. Top roles offered in this course are web developer and app developer. Top recruiters are local software companies. Amazon visits our college and offers technical work. Many students pursue or go for higher studies in MCA or prepare for competitive exams. The highest salary package offered for a BCA graduate is around 6 LPA - 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The quality of classrooms and labs is not very good. Projectors don't work in some classrooms. Most of the computer systems in labs do not work. The library is average, but the latest editions of books are not available. Markers and dusters are not available in classrooms. Air conditioners work only in a few classrooms. It is divided into two different parts for different courses. Both buildings have their canteens and labs. We have two libraries in this college. Wi-Fi is provided. Our classrooms and labs are fully air-conditioned. Only a few medical facilities are available. They are not up to the mark.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. I would call this college average because some teachers do not teach well. Not only me, but my classmates are not able to understand their teaching. We have to get help from the website and online videos. They don't explain the concepts properly. They just read out PPTs. Teachers only focus on attendance. They did not complete the syllabus for the last semester. Online teaching is good. This year, good teachers have been resigned from this college.

Other: I would not recommend students join this college.

Other: I had an interest in coding; that's why I chose this course. We do have annual festivals both in college and university in the months of December and February. The societies are also there, like media, fashion, music and dance.
