It has a new course from Mumbai University.
Placements: Most of the students in animation and VFX get placements from the college. This time, a London-based company of VFX and animation took a short session at the end of the third year exams and also hired a few students. There are many roles, like compositor, editor, animator, etc., that are offered.
Infrastructure: Thakur College is huge, but there is no proper clubhouse. The canteen isn't like a well-maintained one. The library is awesome and even has a partition for girls and boys, so it's cool. Wi-Fi is not available there.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good sometimes, as they give the notices just one day before the last submission day and all. They are helpful. The curriculum is relevant as it covers all the necessary software. The exams aren't that difficult if you study properly, so overall it's fine.
Other: This is the first time that Mumbai University has provided an animation and VFX degree course. Thakur College was the only college for animation and VFX, so I chose this course.
