BESC Kolkata eligibility criteria is quite easy to meet. Candidates with at least 50% aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject in Class 12 are eligible to apply for UG courses. For PG programmes, aspirants need to pass graduation. The college has not specified the minimum aggregate for PG courses. However, aspirants with a decent score can get admission. 

Students pursuing a course from the Bhawanipur Education Society College can apply for the scholarships. Students need to follow the below criteria to avail the benefit:

• The best of five subjects aggregate in Class 12 board result should be 90% and above.
• The student must appear for the Calcutta University end-semester examination for Semester I and Semester II in the academic year 2024-25 as a BESC student.

BESC admissions are primarily based on the merit of the last qualifying examination. Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria of the college could easily get into BESC Kolkata. To be eligible for the BCom (Hons) admissions at the college, students have to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate of total marks and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the related subject. The Bhawanipur Education Society College offer scholarships based on merit of the students. The semester I fee paid by the eligible student is refunded to them after the completion of the semester II university examination. From second semester onwards, the shortlisted students need to pay around 30% of the complete fee as basic charges.
